Nj470 Ausfall?

Hallo Zusammen

Anyone else notice loose volume buttons on the iPhone Air?

Hey everyone

Two days ago I switched from my iPhone 13 to the new iPhone Air. I’m really happy with the design and how smooth and snappy everything feels.

However, I noticed one thing: The volume buttons have a bit of horizontal play, so they wobble slightly when I move my finger over them. I was curious, so I went to a store where they had several on display. Some of the iPhone Air models there also had a slight wobble, but not all of them.

I also checked other phones (iPhone 17, 17 Pro, and even my older, slightly broken iPhone 13), and none of them had any noticeable play in the buttons.

Now I’m wondering: Is this a design flaw of the iPhone Air, or did I just get unlucky?

Does anyone else have this issue?

Anyone else managing a shared cabin across a large family?

Hey

I'm from Switzerland and a while ago my family and I were struggling to organize our shared holiday home. We are a large family so different parts of the family use it at different times. Especially when cousins came to stay on their own, they didn't know what was already there like whether there's a hair dryer or if the water is drinkable and we grew tired of all the calls to sort it out. We also wanted to make sure everything gets done when people leave, like a checklist.

So I built an app to do all that. We're currently using it ourselves and thought maybe others would benefit from it too.

Curious if this is something others struggle with too. Would something like this be useful for you?

Has anyone tried using an app to coordinate a shared boat?

Hey
A while ago I built an app for sharing holiday homes with family and friends for people who don't want to rent it out to strangers but need help with the organization (calendar, checklist for arrival/departure, contact info of owner, etc.).
I noticed that this could also apply for other things than shared holiday homes.

Now my question is: What would you actually need in something like this to make it useful for you? Is this a problem that exists in this field?

Happy to hear your thoughts

I recently launched an app which makes it easier for families and friends sharing a vacation home or other things like boats and trailers.

The tricky part is that the audience is mostly 40+ and not really on the usual SaaS or tech channels. So far I tried some posts in facebook groups and word of mouth and got a few signups but no paying user yet.

For anyone who launched something in a niche like this, what actually worked to get to the first 100? Do you have an idea how I can get to my first paying customer?

Thanks for your help and I hope its okay to post here.
