Is there any Saudi christians here??

Hey everyone!
I converted to Christianity five years ago, but I am looking for other Saudi Christians like me. Being alone here holding a faith different from everyone else's is difficult, l need someone to share my faith and beliefs with, to study the Bible together, and to start our day with Christ. Are there any Saudis here who have converted to Christianity?

I've decided I won't waste any more time wishing and dreaming. I'll save a small amount and leave at the beginning of the new year in pursuit of my freedom and a new life. I'll volunteer on farms and use these platforms to preserve my money as much as possible, and I'll try to do any kind of work there. With all these plans and decisions, only one thing is holding me back: my family. I'm afraid of the next step—leaving them and going away. I'm afraid they'll try to contact me and pressure me emotionally to come back. I'm also afraid I'll actually break down there and decide to return, and then my life will be ruined. Should I ignore my fear and anxiety and just take the plunge and leave despite everything? Do I really have that kind of courage? Please help me with any helpful advice.

I actually posted this on r/solotravel but they keep deleting my post..

Hey everyone,

I’m planning to take a gap year at the beginning of next year and defer my university for a year. My goal is to leave my home environment and travel abroad to explore myself, experience freedom, and discover what kind of life actually fits me.

I’m not really interested in luxury travel, cafes, or typical tourist stuff. I’m more drawn to nature, hiking, simple living, and real experiences. I want to meet new people, see different cultures, and live a slower, more meaningful lifestyle.

The problem is… my budget is pretty limited.

So I’m trying to figure out how to make this work in a realistic way. I’m open to anything — volunteering, working small jobs, living cheaply, moving between places, etc.

If anyone here has done something similar, or has advice on:

- how to travel and live with very little money
- ways to find safe opportunities (work/volunteering)
- or anything I should know before doing this

I’d really appreciate your help.

I feel like I’m standing at a crossroads that will define my entire life.

I know my father will never change, and if I stay, I’ll slowly lose my youth and myself in a life I didn’t choose. But leaving means fear, uncertainty, and a heavy sense of guilt toward my family.

Sometimes I almost convince myself to accept a traditional marriage—just to make things easier, to stop feeling guilty… even if it’s not what I truly want.

I’m exhausted from going back and forth. I don’t want to wake up years from now full of regret.

If you’ve ever been in a situation like this—choosing between your family and your freedom—what did you do? And how did your life turn out after?

I really need to hear real stories right now.

I plan to leave and start a new life in another country at the end of this year when I turn 21. I don't have much money; I might be able to cover the first two months' expenses, but I can't afford to waste much time in this miserable situation with my family. I asked you before if it was worth it, and after reading your answers, I felt that things would indeed be better after I take that first step and leave. But now I'm asking you, how did you manage at the beginning if you didn't have enough money? I want to know what I will face and what I should do.

I grew up in a very strict family where women aren’t allowed independence at all. Even going out alone is a problem, while men have total freedom.

I’m thinking about leaving and starting my own life, but I’m scared.

For women who did it:

Did you regret it?

How did your family react?

Was it worth it?
