Carreer Advice🙏

I need carreer advice

I'm a graduated Aeronautical Engineer. Three years ago, I found my passion for cars and pursued a Master's Degree in Automotive Engineering, which I'm graduating soon.

I've liked cars since very young and drew them as a hobby, but I had never thought of it as a career, until I was working as an engineer three years ago and decided to learn how to design them for passion.

I decided to enroll in courses and learned sketching and 3D modeling in Blender, along with Vizcom.

These renders are recent designs that I made.

I'm looking for a job in automotive engineering right now, to get inside the sector, but I would really like to one day work as an exterior designer of a car brand.

I'm interested in learning automotive design properly and I'm looking for universities or schools that offer car design or transportation design programs.

Do you have any recommendations?

Thanks in advance

Dragon V10 concept variations

I rendered some variations in Vizcom just to see some possibilities.

First image is a Blender render.

I like the exposed side chassy and rear engine on the first variation. It is also the only one that conserves the windscreen from the original model.

Second variation is a bit too aggressive, but the aero looks interesting.

In the third variation I like the nacelles behind the seats (I believe that's how they're called), also the front-intake's mesh, the side intakes and the mirrors.

Overall the added front spoiler seems like an interesting idea, but I'm not going for a super big rear spoiler such as the second and third variations.

I like the idea of having a visible V10 in the rear.

What do you think?

A concept I made today with my 7yo cousin, along with branding

Rendered some images in Vizcom, but I was imagining something a bit different. Should I continue this design?

Preliminary CFD - (Aero efficient concept car) Do you know how to solve surface goal issues in solidworks flow sim?

I'm designing a Ford Probe V efficient aerodynamcs inspired concept car.

I made a rough 3D model in Blender and set up a SolidWorks Fluid simulation to obtain a baseline.

These are the pressure and velocity plots in the mirror plane.

Unfortunately the software shows an error to compute the drag and lift as surface goals in the car's surfaces.

I will solve that error soon to see how it really performs.

This is a preliminary simulation only.

Aerodynamic speedform - inspired by Ford Probe V concept

This is an exercise on aerodynamics. This 3D speedform has similar dimensions to a family sedan. The objective is to design a highly aerodynamic family vehicle. I will perform 2D and 3D CFD analysis in the future.

Ford Probe V - when Ford went all in on aerodynamics

The Ford Probe V was the final evolution of Ford and Ghia’s experimental Probe series, revealed in 1985.

Built as an extreme study in aerodynamics, it featured a mid-engine layout, fully covered wheels, flush surfaces and flexible membranes around the front wheels. The result was an astonishing drag coefficient of just 0.137 Cd, around 10% lower than the already radical Probe IV.

Pretty crazy to think this vehicle was designed back in 1985.

Lamborghini Zero - Aero update

I wanted to show you this short animation I made in Blender of my concept.

I had previously made a wind-tunnel-like fluid simulation, but the main issue was that the top wall of the fluid domain was too low and interfered with the airflow.

I increased the domain's size, tall and wide, and reran the simulation on my desktop and created this animation in Cycles, instead of Eevee as before.

I'm impressed by the quality of the renders; the flow is now more visible over the body. It is visible now also how the top flow merges with the underside flow at the rear end. It can be seen for a brief moment, the flow passing over the sides of the vehicle. Though I couldn't fix the top wall problem, it's still turbulent for some reason.

I tried changing the vorticity of the fluid from 0 to 1, but it only got worse, so I left it at 0. Resolution of the simulation is 512.

This simulation took around 8 hours to run on a 13900K. I thought it would be faster, but it may have ended up around the same time as running a CFD simulation.

I'm preparing a cinematic video and may post it soon. I just posted this video because it made me excited that it looks so good; I wasn't expecting it to look so realistic.

I know that aerodynamics is not the topic of this subreddit, but I thought to share it because some people may find it interesting.

Lamborghini Zero x F-117 Nighthawk | 4K Wallpapers

Lamborghini Zero is a conceptual hypercar inspired by Lamborghini's design heritage and the iconic F-117 Nighthawk. Its fighter jet–inspired canopy, angular surfaces, and futuristic proportions were designed to create a bold, stealth-like presence.

I put together a few 4K wallpapers featuring the Zero alongside the F-117 to highlight the aircraft that inspired many of its design cues.

If you're interested in the full project, including the design process and additional renders, you can also check it out on Behance here. ⬇️

Lamborghini Zero V12 – A concept exploring my own interpretation of Lamborghini's design language (Behance Project)

I've just published the complete Behance project for Lamborghini Zero V12, a conceptual hypercar I've been developing over the past months.

The main objective wasn't to redesign an existing Lamborghini, but to explore what an original design language could look like while remaining recognizable as part of the brand's DNA.

The concept revolves around sharp, geometric surfaces, dramatic proportions, a fighter jet–inspired canopy, and an aerodynamic philosophy where airflow becomes part of the visual identity rather than just an engineering requirement.

The Behance project includes the full design process, from early sketches to 3D development, studio renders, realistic mockups, and aerodynamic visualizations.

I'd really appreciate your feedback, especially regarding the design language. Does this still feel unmistakably Lamborghini, or do you think it drifts too far from the brand's identity?

Wind tunnel test - Lamborghini-Cole Zero Concept

Visualizing air flow with fluid physics simulation inside Blender.

Path tracing of smoke over and through the car's body.

What do you see? First time simulating fluids in Blender for me.

Lamborghini Zero - Aero Renders (Do you know how to make them?)

Do you guys know how to make air flow infographics without conducting CFD analysis?

I'm preparing a Behance project for my latest car design, and I would like to add some aero infographics. I made the first three in canva but they're too simple. I also made the last two with AI, yet they look too artificial. Does someone know a way to do this or have a tested prompt they would like to share?

Thank you.

Cole : Zero : 0 (Renders)

This concept is a manifest of my vision of the future hypercar.

Speed, aerodynamics, stealth and angles.

An experience in the city for those who watch.

Born to race.

[I post here the Blender renders, without AI enhancement]
