I've just received a Bigme B6 Color.
What surprised me is how slow it is! I expected a device with 4GB RAM, 64GB of storage, and an octa-core processor to be more responsive, but instead every single operation is extremely slow and the UI reacts with a significant delay.
Have you noticed this as well?
As far as you know, does Bigme have a return policy? I'm seriously considering sending it back.
Over the past month, I’ve been working on the development of AILector, an EPUB reader for Android with built-in AI assistance.
The goal is to make reading more interactive: instead of constantly switching between different apps, readers can ask contextual questions directly within the book they are reading.
Current features include:
✅ Chapter summaries
✅ Questions about the chapter or book being read
✅ Contextual questions based on selected text
✅ AI-powered translation
✅ Bookmarks, annotations, and highlights
It is designed primarily for Android e-readers (such as XtEink S4, Viwoods, Boox, Bigme, etc.), but it also works well on tablets and smartphones.

App Name: AILector
What it does:
AILector is an EPUB reader for Android with integrated AI assistance. It allows readers to ask contextual questions, get summaries, translate passages, and interact with the content without leaving the reading app.
Key Features:
• AI-generated chapter summaries
• Context-aware Q&A about the current chapter, book, or selected text
• AI-powered translation directly inside the reader
Additional Features:
• Bookmarks
• Annotations
• Text highlighting
Goal:
Launch / Feedback
I built AILector primarily for Android e-readers such as Boox, Bigme, and similar E Ink devices, but it also works on Android tablets and smartphones. The main idea is to reduce the need to switch between reading apps and AI tools by bringing AI-powered assistance directly into the reading experience.
I'd be interested in hearing feedback from Android e-reader users and anyone who regularly reads EPUB books on Android devices.

Attualmente sto utilizzando DeepSeek V4 Flash tramite API OpenRouter.

Why is the heat rule basically nonexistent at Roland Garros?
We keep hearing about “player safety” every single year, but then matches are played in brutal heat with almost no meaningful intervention. The Australian Open has an actual Extreme Heat Policy, players get longer breaks, roofs close, schedules change. At Roland Garros? Apparently everyone is just supposed to survive.
You can literally see players struggling physically, ball kids collapsing, people in the crowd baking for hours, and the tournament still acts like clay somehow makes 35°C acceptable. It’s absurd.
And before someone says “they’re professional athletes” — being fit doesn’t magically make heatstroke impossible. Tennis matches can go on for 4-5 hours with almost no shade. This isn’t about toughness, it’s about basic common sense.
What’s even more frustrating is the total inconsistency between Slams. Either heat is dangerous or it isn’t. Why does one tournament take it seriously while another seems stuck in the 1990s?
At this point it feels like Roland Garros cares more about tradition and TV schedules than actual player welfare.
Hi everyone,
I’m developing AILector, an Android EPUB reader with integrated AI features, and I’m looking for testers willing to keep the app installed and use it occasionally during the next 14 days.
Main features:
✅ Ask AI questions about selected text
✅ Chapter and full-book Q&A
✅ AI-generated summaries
✅ AI translations while reading
✅ Highlights, notes, and bookmarks
✅ EPUB support
The main goal is to improve deep reading and studying workflows, especially for:
I’m currently running a closed beta on Google Play and I’m looking for Android users willing to test the app for the next couple of weeks and share honest feedback about usability, reading experience, and AI usefulness.
I’m especially interested in feedback from people already using apps like Moon+ Reader, ReadEra, KOReader, Librera, or similar tools.
Check the website: https://ailector-site.vercel.app/
If your're interested, join to the testers Google Group (with the account you use on your Android device):
https://groups.google.com/g/ailector-testers
Then install the app from the following link (you must be in the testers group to see it):

Any honest feedback is highly appreciated.
Ciao a tutti,
