Bathtub refinishing

Hello guys. I’ve been planning on a bathroom update. I recently learned that there is this thing called bathtub refinishing. Where after all the update in the bathroom is done, tiles etc. Then they come in to re-enamel polish stuff. I hvae asked for a quote for my 60x30x15 Kohler cast iron tub and it was less than $400. I live in Chicago, IL. One of the contractors said that it I do this, it would save me ~$1.5k. I want to just check out who has done it their thoughts on it. Pros and cons of tub refinishing.

Thank you for your time.

Barely interested 😆

My ShadowX isn’t interested in any toy I give him. I don’t know if that’s just his personality or what. I recently got him this wooden puzzle. I swear if there aren’t treats, he would not touch them. Here I’m surprised he didn’t take all of them.

How would you improve this esp the tree proportions

Hello - I consider myself a hobbyist 😜 as opposed to an artist. I love and appreciate art so I dabble. This is an 8” x 9.75” rendition of Monet’s technique. I used primary red, white and blue acrylic colors and blended to create other colors. I know that the proportion is off for sure. How would one fix this while keeping the size?

I want to try again in my next attempt.

Can anyone check this rabbit breeder in Waynesboro PA

I don’t know if this will be viewed by non fb users. But I’ve been seeing this profile and it bothers me. She’s always showing a reel of rabbits eating copius, unrealistic amount of pellets. The cages show a wired bottom. There was also a “transport” cage that looked so cramped with wired bottom. She has a lot of different breeds, the way they are handled seems brusque and I feel so sad as the bunnies are gentle creatures. I have not seen anything grave I suppose but it just bothers me seeing the wired-bottom cages, the sufuse pellets (I asked about hay, she say they are eating them). I said that the reels kinda give an unhelpful impression to the general public because pellets are supposed to be given in small amounts only. Anyway. the profile is Lucky 13 Rabbits and seems to be based in Waynesboro, PA. If she’s a responsible / good breeder, it would be a relief. I just want to look out for the rabbits hoping that they are trealed and taken care off appropriately.

Produce mesh bags as pot scrubbers

Edit: it has now come to my attention that this method is introducing microplastics in the water. Thus, it’s not a very good re-use method. I appreciate learning this as I have not realized it.

Original post text:
Perhaps many are already doing this. Just want to share a re-use method for those produce mesh bags (avocados, onions, potatoes etc.) they are great pot scrubbers!

Pls help me how to use pump needle adaptor

I have this pump which I use to inflate my bike tires. I want to use it to inflate an exercise ball. The metal pin is too loose. I think I can use this yellow adaptor but I can’t figure out how. For one I can’t even get it out of its tan casing. It’s too tight. What is going in here? How can I use it? Never used it before and I want to use it now. Have had the pump for decades, no longer have the manual and I tried googling but have not found any solution. Anyone know hoe to work this thing?

Anyone have the Kohler Persuade toilet? How's the dual flush trip lever?

Hello. I am planning to update my bathroom. I've selected Kohler Persuade Toilet for a few reasons. Primarily because of the dual flush system and the 2-piece (most dual flush are on modern 1-piece set or smart ones, I still prefer an analog system lol). I also like the skinny width. I've been reading reviews where it says that the flush doesn't work very well. I wanted to get more input from others. I'm not able to determine whether that issue was with the top flush or the side flush lever. I'm looking to do the side flush lever so I can put some stuff on top of the tank. Anyway, it has been said that they often had to flush 2x to get the job done. I wonder if it was the design dual flush trip or a problem with the top flush. In any case, anyone who has Persuade toilet? How long have you had it and any qualms? Thanks in advance.

I love my baby even when he looks like a rat 😂

My ShadowX absolutely abhors being handled. I mostly let him be lest he murder me. I don’t like the way he looks so unkempt and people think and judge me that I don’t take care of him like they do at the shelter where I take him for nail trim. He’s been with me for 8 years now, adopted him from a friend of a friend who bought him at a pet store then later learning a family member got allergic to him. She didn’t want to return it back as he’ll be euthanised. I was hesitant to own a pet then. He’s been good, I don’t say the best because he anobs me all the time hehe. Occasionally he will allow me to kiss him and rub my chin on his head/ears. At rare times when I couldn’t control myself I would lift him and give him a very, very quick cuddle. Then get a thump as soon as he gets back on the floor 😆

Looking for a word used to call a bee bath that is something like goulla (?)

Hello ... not too long ago, I saw a clip/reel either from FB, ig or here that is about spring, or plants. In the video were potted plants that the poster seems to have brought about as a kind of spring activity. Then there was a terra cotta plant pot that she turned over and then put the dish on top of it. Then proceeded to put some stones or rocks in it. Later there was water in the dish too. I didn't know what was going on, but I read the comments. The posted wrote something like this.... "...this is the first time I made a *goulla*..." Goulla is not the actual word used, but sounds/looks something like that. There was an "oulla" in it I think. It is a word I am looking for. Anyway, she described this word as a bee bath essentially. I thought I saved the reel but I looked and looked and looked. I could not find it. I searched and search and searched, no dice. I looked at my activity history, could not find it. I wanted to refer to that reel again and refer back to this term she used. The reel is not primarily about bee bath. She created some sort of micro garden in her home outdoor area like a backyard or something. The plants were mostly potted and arranged in stalls maybe that surrounded a tiny corner or something. She was talking about plants or spring or cozy garden. I thought that it was a common name but I tried googling for other names of 'bee bath' that seems like or sounds like goulla or youlla, but there are no viable results. It might be in a different language but I search for Spanish, French, Portuguese, Italian... none of them are it. I wondered if anyone has seen this reel as well and read the poster's comment and mention of this term. Or if anyone might know this word that I am looking for. Anyone?

Picture is from my deck where I took out my potted plants outside for the season and where I tried to make this bee bath. Only I want to use that “fancy” term that I can’t even remember lol.

Has anyone been able to successfully exit from HGV Membership?

I am looking to exit from HGV Membership. Reaching out to HGV resulted in them providing information on resale. I am intent on possibly just losing the ownership or give it back. In any case, would like to hear other's experience in exiting HGV membership.
