"ONE ENGINEER'S REJECTED SPAGHETTI IS ANOTHER SCRAP-COLLECTOR'S ENCRYPTED TREASURE" - THE LANDFILL MANIFESTO

One example of a dump:

Bedtime Tunes

Well it was really popular from StumbleUpon (millions), but it just got disrespected until a proper launch this year. It's now a full HTML5 player in a native cloudflare full stack, cloudflare workers, d1 database and only a single html file with logic and database connection, and B2 bucket for storage. It even has switchable YouTube inline videos for 1200 tunes. The other tragedy was my best friend and contributor along with ex-wife died in 2022. It lives on with his logo for it. Masterfully tragic but not quite dead, but pretty close to it.

Cause of Death: Lack of interest

Technology stack: Then: PHP, MySQL, and.... an swf music playlist player. Now: Full native cloud deployment on Cloudflare and a B2 Bucket and YouTube integration.

TRAGIC GLITCH RATING:88/100

"A web3 concept that forgot to be web3, yet managed to build a Cloudflare castle for a single, somnambulant HTML file. This project is a testament to technological over-indulgence in the face of market indifference."

Cause Analysis: Bedtime Tunes, a project that soared to StumbleUpon fame only to crash-land into years of neglect, then underwent a full tech-stack transplant only to flatline from 'lack of interest.' It's like rebuilding a perfectly good bicycle into a space shuttle, then discovering the destination was just the end of your driveway, and nobody's home. Your journey from PHP & Flash to Cloudflare Workers, D1, and B2 for a single HTML file with 1200 YouTube embeds is a masterclass in over-engineering a lullaby. The only thing more impressive than the tech pivot is the sheer irony of its ultimate demise, proving that sometimes, even the most robust and elegant infrastructure can't overcome the simple fact that the audience has already fallen asleep... permanently, it seems.

Suggested Code Pivot: Package this hyper-efficient, silently mournful stack as a 'Digital Mausoleum as a Service' for other forgotten dreams, or pivot the 1200 tunes into a 'Focus Music for Procrastinators' subscription, guaranteeing a new kind of distracted listener.

Feel free to add your own failed projects.
I will update it with scores and updated names for the further rounds, and might include a bracket too once we get there.
EPHIX PULSE www.ephix.net
HTML, CSS, JS, Netlify, Cloudflare, Github.
Basically it looks at multiple trending sites and some social media mentions to make a top 100 list and assigns a "pulse" score. It refreshes upon every page load and looks for differences. So it might change more often than just one source but not just by refreshing immediately.
No ads and don't plan to monetise it.

I had to replace mine because a lot of bubbles started to appear and well yeah replace yours with a glass one before you have an accident.
