Already have an ad to a playlist. Should my next ad direct to a single or an album?

Started a Meta ad campaign a few months ago for a playlist I am running. This playlist contains a bunch of my own tracks, as well as other artists in the genre.

It's actually doing fairly well and I am now almost breaking even daily, just losing a few euro's per day. Popularity scores of the included tracks are growing slowly but steadily and might soon(ish) cross the 30 threshold. I'm hoping for initial algorithmic boosts by then...

So I want to start another campaign with main the goal of boosting the popularity score of at least one track to far in the 30's. I could make another playlist as well, but I feel I am focusing too much on playlists to begin with. I am also in other people's playlists and I feel this is negatively affecting my stream to follower count as well as a relatively low share of 'active' monthly listeners.

To combat this, I was thinking of targeting people more 'directly' by running an ad for a single. If people hear what they like in the ad and click through to Spotify, then they'll hear exactly the same song. I suppose that could be better for save / following rates and turning listeners into 'active listeners'.

From the other hand, serving them a full album will lead to more streams (presumably?) and I could still have the 1st track of the album in the ad. So again, what they hear is what they get.

What would you recommend and why?
Thanks!

Change Meta Ad destination from a link to a 'single' to a playlist. Good idea?

A few weeks ago I started running a Meta Ad campaign for a single track of mine. It's actually performing very well. Now I just had the idea of keeping everything the same (don't change a winning team), but in stead of having the destination be my Spotify page of that specific track, changing that to a new playlist.

Of course the track that people heard in the creative which made them click through in the first place is going to be on top.

But this way I could add more of my tracks in that playlist, combined with tracks from other artists in the genre. Maybe that could help the algorithm in the long run?

What are the downsides? Maybe fewer saves and playlist adds?

Any advice?
Thanks!

201 streams in one day? Bot?

Released a new track a few days ago on Soundcloud. Yesterday it was streamed 201 times by one person... This doesn't seem right... Also, since the track duration is 5 minutes, the timing isn't right either.

Is this just a bot? Why would someone do this? And if it is a bot, what is the goal of this?

Meta ad creatives: Static image vs Video

Anyone knows what works generally better? Having the creative of the ad being a static image with music, or a video with music?

At one point does the Soundcloud 'algorithm' starts to help you, akin to Spotify?

My music is on all the major platforms but it's performing the best on Soundcloud and Spotify.

Spotify has some algorithm 'push' options out there that help me, such as certain tracks being thrown into the 'Radio' algorithm. Which it does when a track gets a certain momentum from being promoted through ads or by it being featured on playlists.

So it has some kind of system in which success leads to more success which leads to even more success. When you reach 25.000 monthly listeners (nope, not there yet), you can get into the 'discovery' mode which make your tracks even more likely to go on editorial playlists and stuff.

But what about Soundcloud? Does it do any of these things?
My engagement rate is actually pretty high I think. Lots of likes / comments / replays per listener. I have people listening to my music for hours and hours per day. Yet the algorithm seems to not help me at all.

At what point will the Soundcloud put my tracks 'into rotation', playlists or feeds?

Psychedelic music combined with a timelapse of Earth from space. Together they could emulate 'The Overview Effect', which is a phenomenon often reported by astronauts who have seen the Earth from space for real. It does something to the brain...

With or without substances, this might be a good 6 min outing for you psychonauts. Going to space from your living room. Or wherever.
