Finally got the keys to our first home. It’s been a long journey, and it still doesn’t feel real. We built it from the ground up over the last few years, and seeing it finished is surreal.
Got this Clement Mazarian Exceptional Watches book mostly because I wanted something nice for the coffee table.
This was supposed to be decoration.
Instead I’ve been randomly opening it every evening and finding a new watch to obsess over for 20 minutes.
Made me realize I don’t actually own any other watch books. Curious what everyone here has on their shelf and which ones you’d recommend?
The response to my last POA-3000RG post was crazy, so here’s the full RG stack running together.
Denon PRA-2000RG + POA-3000RG, fed by a Node X and driving JBL L100 MkII. All Supra XLR/interconnect cabling.
Placement isn’t final yet, but I couldn’t wait to share it in motion.
So I recently bought the Roborock Q Revo S Pro and I’m impressed with it.
Before this I had a Q8, and it was good, but there was two things that always annoyed me. First one was that it kept getting stuck around my speaker stands. Like almost every time it went near them, I had to go rescue it, until i marked it as a "no go zone" and had to clean dust manually.
The second issue was my thick wool carpet. The Q8 just couldn’t really climb it properly. I had to pull out the carpet manually for it to clean the rest of the room.
The Q Revo S Pro has been way better so far. It cleans extremelly well, and it feels more confident when moving around. It also manages to get on my carpet much better, which was honestly one of the biggest things for me.
What also surprised me is how quiet it is. I expected it to be louder, especially with how good the cleaning is, but it’s actually pretty pleasant to have running, I can attend meetings while it cleans the room.
Overall; really happy with it. I know it’s still early, but compared to my Q8 this feels like a proper upgrade. It’s quieter, cleans better, gets stuck less, and just feels more polished in daily use.
Loving the view and finally getting the pool ready to enjoy second season, but now we do have a toddler, so safety is a big priority for us right now.
Still figuring out the best setup (covers, barriers, routines, etc.) to make it as safe as possible, I do have a seasonal cover but its very heavy to deal with it daily.
Any tips from other pool owners with young kids would be really appreciated!
