Coffee/Latte Art People

Hey guys,

Local coffee geek but everyone that has read my few post knows this. I am want to meet other people that have a strong love for the bean. I would like to set up a meet up for coffee lovers at a local cafe to just talk about the bean and other places that have the highest quality beans.

I was thinking people could meet at Maru Coffee which is located at 320 Wythe Ave, Brooklyn, NY
11249 in Williamsburg on July 12th. I have a google calendar for anyone interested in joining.

This will be a fun opportunity to meet others obsessed with the beans and many ways to prepare it.

Cannot wait to meet fellow coffee people!!!

Any old cafe equipment??

Hello Reddit!

I’m seeking cafe equipment, either for purchase or if anyone is kind enough to donate it. Unfortunately, I don’t have the financial means to buy it myself. I recently received an opportunity to open a coffee shop in Midwood, Brooklyn, and I’m a resident of Williamsburg. I’m incredibly excited about this venture, as I’ve successfully run a cafe before and I’m confident that I can do it again. If anyone is willing to help me out, please let me know.

Thanks a lot, community!

35M Williamsburg - Looking to rebuild my social circle after a tough breakup (coffee + morning people welcome)

Hey everyone,
I’m a 35-year-old guy in Williamsburg who just came out of a long relationship where I basically closed myself off socially. Now that it’s over, I’m ready to get back out there and make some normal, low-drama friends.
I’m a big coffee guy, always down to hit up a good café in the neighborhood (or beyond). I’m a total morning person, so early coffee, weekend brunch, walks in McCarren Park, or just exploring Brooklyn in the daytime works great for me. I don’t drink, but I don’t mind grabbing an early spot at a bar if it’s chill and low-key.
Looking for other people around my age (30s) who are solid, straightforward, and interested in actual friendships, nothing intense, just regular hangs, good conversation, and doing normal Brooklyn things. Bonus if you’re also into coffee, or just getting out of the house on weekends.
If that sounds like you, shoot me a message with a bit about yourself and your favorite coffee spot (or whatever you’re into). Let’s grab a coffee sometime soon.
Thanks!
