There's black bars around the names of the function on every short? Anyone know what it is?

After printing these about a year ago, I finally got around to painting them and I'm so proud of it!

I just got my first ever death guard / maggotkin of nurgle minis, I feel like it's bad but my boyfriend said it's good, C&C appreciated ❤️

I finally decided to start building my maggotkin collection and couldn't figure out what's on this nurgling, my boyfriend thinks it's vomit but I'm not sure. Any clarification?
