I am using my pixel 2xl with Lineageos to connect to my wireless home network over usb tethering, because the wifi on my laptop stopped working. My phone is also rooted with magisk. Is there a way to prevent battery charging of the phone while connected to the laptop over usb? Now i have to disconnect it every time when the battery charge reach over 90%.
Wifi button that toggle the wireless connection stopped working suddenly and the button light glow constantly in orange color. Does that mean that the network card is finished?
I have laptop with manjaro and wifi stopped working suddenly. I am almost sure that it is a hardware issue because i tried multiple distros from live usb and wifi didn't work on any of them. But if i run lscpi for network it show this: Network controller: Intel Corporation Centrino Advanced-N 6205 [Taylor Peak] (rev 34)
So, my question is if it is hardware issue how lscpi is detecting the network card?
Currently, i am connecting to my home wireless network through my android phone using usb tethering. My laptop is hp elitbook 8560w.
I want to install arch linux on /dev/sdb6. Using archinstall script i assigned mount point to root (/) and set the partition for formatting. But when i finished the setup and tried to install it it say: invalid configuration: boot partition not found. My system is using MBR.
Is it enough to check if the sources used for downloading the build files are safe, or there are other things i should look also?
I installed endevouros xfce but after rebooting i get to grub prompt on boot. I reinstalled grub from live usb with these commands:
grub-install --target=i386-pc /dev/sdX
grub-mkconfig -o /boot/grub/grub.cfg
But this didn't fix the problem, still getting grub prompt on boot.
I installed Elementum and Burst addon on kodi, but if i try to add movie or tv show to kodi library using the option 'Add to Library' from the context menu it doesn't work, no movie or tv show appear in the library. The option 'Enable library integration with Kodi' in Elementum settings is enabled.Anyone else having this problem. I am using kodi on manjaro.
