Preview of a Jukebox the Ghost musical

Hi JtG fam! As I have posted before, I have been working on a musical using the music of Jukebox the Ghost called Safe Travels: a Jukebox jukebox musical.

On Saturday the 22nd in NYC, Safe Travels will be performing a 20 min snippet of the show along side 3 other brand new musicals that are in development. There will be producers, reviewers, peers, and friends & family in the room. This is one step closer to bringing Safe Travels to a theater near you...and you can see it live!

So I rewatched the 1991 movie...

After the finale of the show, my mother and I (who watched together every week) decided to re-watch the movie together. It's easily been 20+ years since either one of us had seen it.

And it was kinda bad?

Like, Nolte, DeNiro and Lewis kill it. They act their butts off, but the script can get kinda weak (especially with the husband and wife stuff, and while I get it was of the time, the information that Nolte's character "buries" is not really that incriminating, so like...) and the cinematography made some really shiet choices at times. Also, the random voice over at the end from Juliette Lewis? Wth?

Still worth a watch (or re-watch) but I think it doesn't stand up as well.

[TOMT][instructional driving video][2000s] Instructional driving video with fried chicken

Hey ya'll! I lived in Chicago until the late 2010's. I was a driver since 1999. From my recollection, if you got a moving violation you could go to a driving class (usually on a saturday) for 4-8 hours to get it expunged from your record.

In the class they would show a video. There were some groups of friends going to the forest I think either to have a picnic, or to party or camp. They are driving on the street, and one of the cars starts waving a fried chicken drumstick out the window, forcing the other car to start driving on the wrong side of the road to get a long side the car and try to grab the chicken.

I NEED to find this video. Does anyone know what I am talking about? Thanks in advance interenet!

Virtual Board Game Shelf

I really wanted to keep track of all the games I have, easy access to all my games, find tutorials easier, and help new friends pick a game before coming over.

With that, I made a virtual board game kallax with all my games and expansions. It still needs an overhaul on the design (I wanted the data in first) but I am looking to add all sorts of things:

  • Calendar and game picker for game night
  • "Tony's game of the month"
  • Favorites

Is there anything else missing? I am open to all suggestions!
