while landing this warning sound came up during approach, how do I clear it?

When default vnav descent is started, autothrottle goes to idle and disconnects while remaining armed. The aircraft will then follow a correct glide path down.

The autothrottle will remain in idle and off regardless of airspeed

Turning autothrottle back on will cause the throttle to go into TOGA, and once the target speed is exceeded it returns to idle and disconnects

If you leave it like this, the descent path eventually becomes shallow enough that the aircraft loses too much airspeed and stalls. This is a recurring behavior among basically all my aircraft with default vnav and autothrottle.

I built a custom autothrottle lua script to evade this issue, however for whatever reason adding throttle manually causes the plane to try and level off, almost like it wants to decelerate.

In the past this was not an issue, the autothrottle would remain functional, and the glidepath would be maintained.

You can even see it's correct functionality on my magknight 787 video from the past (autothrottle is active and moving the throttle during descent)
