Took 100mg modafinil today and went to sleep like 30 mins later 😂

And bro, I had a proper solid sleep for like an hour. 🤣

The weird part is, even 10mg melatonin doesn’t make me sleep that easily.

But somehow I took modafinil — something that’s literally supposed to keep you awake — and it knocked me out 💀

And yeah, this was in the afternoon lmao.

I don’t have any sleep issues btw. Just had some modafinil and thought I’d try it.

Still confused how this shit made me sleep better than melatonin 😂

Has anyone dealt with something like this?

When I was a kid, studying was much easier for me. But as I got older, I slowly started noticing that learning became harder. I can read the same page again and again, understand it while I'm reading, but later it feels like my brain never actually stored it. Even if I write things down multiple times instead of just reading, it's pretty much the same.

It feels like I have an information encoding problem. New academic information just doesn't seem to stick.

I've tried Alpha GPC, Brahmi, Ginkgo Biloba, Omega-3, and I've been taking Escitalopram (Nexito 10 mg) for the past 6 months, but I haven't noticed much improvement.

For context, I don't use recreational drugs, I don't smoke, and I don't even drink coffee or other caffeinated drinks regularly.

Recently I read about the Stamets Stack (Psilocybin 🍄microdose50mg + Lion's Mane 500mg+ Niacin 100mg ). Has anyone with a similar information encoding / academic memory issue tried it? Did it actually help, or did you eventually figure out what was causing your problem?
