It’s a very dark comedy/psychological/twist/horror on Hulu. I loved it, but I’ve never heard anyone else irl or on here ever mention it.

Don’t spoil it for yourself if you want to watch it! I always go in 99% blind to most movies anyway because it just ruins it for me to already know shit that happens and trailers are pretty bad about doing that sometimes. For psychological twists especially, which is my favorite genre overall.

I placed an order on Thursday around 1:30am, which is a normal time for that restaurant and I’ve placed orders there around that time many times. I’ve been a loyal DASH PASS customer for over a decade; I place an order every single week, sometimes multiple times a week. However..

When I placed my order Thursday, I experienced the most egregious and wild experience I’ve ever encountered with DD. My instructions state “leave at the door,” and I always direct message my dashers to ensure they… leave it at my door, but also with explicit instructions as to where (for me it’s literally at my door, it’s nothing wild.)

I was forced to find a new place to live with less than a month’s notice and my new place is in an extremely sketchy area and l live alone. And, it was nearly 2am. When the dasher arrived, she kept messaging “come out here.” Which I felt already was odd. I eventually responded “I’m sorry, I don’t feel comfortable coming outside, please just leave my order on my porch.”

After a minute or so, the app stated my order was delivered but there was no picture of the delivery nor confirmation from the dasher, so I scoured around my living area, and there was nothing. As I was walking around, a car zoomed past (my house is extremely close to a main road), and the female driver screamed “good luck getting your order bitch!”

What? The fuck? I then tried to converse with DD support about the instance and the entire time I did so, she kept circling around and around and around my house. Never in my entire life nor my 13 years as a very devoted DD customer have I ever experienced an encounter such as this. I eventually became fearful “for my life” (she had my exact address and clearly was without any provocation extremely aggressive), and I called 911 and the police came out and filed a report.

I reached out to DD for a refund and to file an official complaint against Natalie, but they almost immediately (bot) stated “we’re sorry, we cannot refund you.” I’ve reached out to DD support little times since then, even offering the police report and evidence, but every single time, I’m told I’m not eligible for a refund. I’d just gotten home after a 17 hour shift, had had some drinks, and just wanted a goddamn burrito before passing out before yet another nearly 20 hour shift. 98% of every other time I’ve ever reached out to DD support, they quickly refunded me what I was due. But the one and only time I was threatened and stalked and filed a police report, I am ineligible for my $18 back?

I don’t know why I posted this other than to scream to the highly specific subreddit void of WHAT THE ACTUAL FUCKING FUCK?!

I am so beyond my wit’s end with life and things and work and people and this is just the straw that is breaking me. I now get to add the at least possibility of a random hostile dasher staking me for however long and doing god knows what. Even if she isn’t doing that, it still weighs on my mind, and I have beyond more than I can even comprehend on my mind as it is, and I do not know what to do. I have reached out to DD support multiple times since then, constantly begging for a live agent and not a bot, but I just keep being rerouted from bot to bot to bot to the eventual same “we’re sorry, but we don’t owe you shit” message. They’ve never given a reason why. I don’t know what I could have possibly done wrong, but I know that I am not at fault, and not only did I not receive what I paid for by their hired worker, but that I was also threatened and weirdly stalked by them for nearly an hour, and even still, I’m constantly told I cannot and will not be refunded. Even with me stating I will provide all the evidence from the police to prove I’m not just asking for free money. The best they could give me was “We blocked Natalie from being a dasher.”

I placed an order over an hour ago on DoorDash. My instructions specify “leave at the door.” When she pulled up, she kept messaged verbatim “come out.” I’m a single female alone in a new place in a sketchy area, and responded “I don’t feel comfortable, I have flashed my porch lights,” and after a little while, I went outside as the app said delivered. She drove by very fast (on Woodland) and shouted out her car window “good luck getting your order bitch!” And proceeded to circle around and around my place. I filed a report with DD and with the police (she has my address!) but knowing DD, they won’t do anything, and the police couldn’t do anything since she wasn’t around. I just wanted a simple late night burrito.

Bring back the ability to easily anywhere scroll back to the main feed from a post! You said you were working on this bug this past weekend but it still persists!
