Pill vs Injection for extreme nausea?

Hi all. I use goodrx and take the wegovy pill at the starter dose, as I’ve only been on a GLP-1 for 2 weeks. First week was solid with hardly any side effects except fullness and constipation, but that was on me since I didn’t have a ton of fiber where I was staying. The second week on these pills were hell for several reasons. I started a new job which was physically taxing on my body, I started my period, and I had to start 2 other medications for my PMOS - Doxycycline (low dose for my skin flare ups) and Spironolactone for my hirsutism.

My question is, I’m not sure whether the nausea will get better. I was having extreme head rushes, dizziness, nausea every single day no matter the time of day. I couldn’t sleep because I was so nauseous. I woke up nauseous. I took the pill and got nauseous. Eating helped for maybe 30min, then the nausea returned. I’m not able to eat frequent small meals due to my work. I usually have to wait 5-6hrs between meals and can’t just snack in between. Because of this, I’m thinking I may just be a bad candidate for weight loss drugs.

Conversely though, I heard from some people that the injection only causes nausea for the first day or so after the injection. If that’s the case, I’d much rather swap to that. I can take nausea for a day or two, but the daily pill would guarantee nausea every single day.

On top of all this, I told my prescriber at GoodRX and I requested nausea medication. All they did was recommend I stop the meds, then prescribed me more, and didn’t respond to me asking for nausea medication 😭

Any advice would be helpful

Possible new aesthetic???

Was playing around on pinterest trying to create a new aesthetic for my closet. I feel it’s a mashup of several aesthetics bordering on arcade-core, but with influences from 80s glam rock, 2000s nostalgia, and WWE. I’d been calling it Nostalgic ChromaGoth but what do you all think? Maybe more punky than goth? I haven’t been able to find this specific aesthetic named yet.

[Suppliers] ISO retractable wall scroll manu

As the title suggests, I’m looking for a manufacturer for those retractable wall scrolls I see every once in a while at artist alleys. It’s been a bit since I’ve seen one, but my partner bought one from an artist a few years ago. I’m getting back into the artist alley space and I think they would be a good solution for those cons where people don’t want to hold something too bulky, but still want large prints. I’ve been searching for days and haven’t found any leads. Any help is appreciated!!

Hi all! As the title says, I’m trying to get back into makeup after nearly 6 years. I used to wear all sorts of cool eye shadow looks but struggled with falsies and wings. Usually half lashes or clusters are easier but I hardly ever do them.

My style is a bit more alt and androgynous now and I have an eyebrow slit. Any makeup style recommendations? I always like my face better when I do my own makeup, because when I get my makeup done professionally they alter my facial features a ton and give me very large heavy lashes. I feel like super “girly” makeup looks bad on me, and too much contour alters my face in a way I don’t particularly enjoy, but I loooove eyeliner and shimmers.

Pics 3 and 6 are my go-to makeup look for when I do any on camera work: Foundation, light contour/bronzer, light blush draping, eyeliner, mascara, lip liner, and nudey pink gloss. I always get scared to do “too much” with my makeup but looking at these pics I think maybe I can afford to do a bit more? Help pleasee!

Hi all. So for context I (26F) have been lifting weighs on and off for years, around once a week. I also am a dancer and undergo a couple 8-12 week intensives each year. A few months ago i started to lift 3x a week full body. My doctor recommended I work in regular brisk walks for cardio as I have PCOS and am obese according to BMI. I’ve included some brisk walks daily on my walking pad and outdoors for the past 4ish weeks. However, a week ago I set up to get on a stationary bike at the gym where the seat was too close to the pedals, and i twist my knee in a funky way and hear a pop, then warmth on the inner part of my knee. I proceeded with the workout as usual even though it felt “off” but not painful. The next day my knee was super wobbly and going down stairs produced sharp pain underneath the knee cap. Felt like a hot knife stabbing a straight line vertical through the knee cap it was awful. This sharp pain was also present when squatting down to the floor. Oddly enough, I could walk somewhat normal without pain, just some instability. I have hypermobile joints, and locking my knee back produced a loud pop each time and was very uncomfortable, and bending the knee produced another pop as my knee cap made a weird thud movement. The sharp pain from the stairs and squatting lasted for about 4 days, then went away. From then, it’s just felt kinda stiff, unstable, slightly warm to the touch, and slightly puffier than my other knee. Each day the stiffness has improved, and there’s way less clicking than before, but it’s still puffier than the other knee. I scheduled an appt with my doctor for Monday but wanted to pop in here for an opinion or two. I’ve been taking motrin for the swelling and haven’t trained lower body since the incident to let it rest up. Any advice is appreciated!
