Can't really see this going any other way in a few years. Sony will de facto create a complete monopoly over how games can be sold on the PS6, given they don't even provide game keys to be sold for resellers (like Xbox or Steam does). Apple was in a similar situation, given they only supported the app store on their devices, but EU mandated they have to support 3rd party storefronts, and they ended up doing that, although only on European devices afaik. There is the argument that the consoles are sold at a loss and this is a way to recoup that, but... We had news just a few days ago that they're not going to subsidize the new console too much.

No hate, just so I'm safe, just a shower thought that came to my mind, among 4 generations of Xbox so far, only the 360 can truly be called a successful console. OG Xbox was good hardware, but dwarfed by the PS2 and didn't really gain a lot of popularity, killed of quickly too, XOne is the console to lose it all, and XSX was too little too late. Bigger console franchises died because of lesser mistakes than Xbox. Of course I am aware that having backing of the behemoth that Microsoft is, makes it way easier to stay afloat whatever happens, yet still I'm surprised we're still here talking about a new Xbox on the horizon, whatever it may be.

Apologies if this is basic knowledge, however I've been out of the game and community since Iceflake took over, and I'm just wondering, how long do they usually take after announcing a patch to actually deploying it to users?

Przez kilka ostatnich miesięcy męczę się z ciągłym poczuciem braku celu i przyjemności. Ostatnie lata większość czasu i myśli zajmowało mi zarabianie na dom, a potem wykończenie, koniec końców się udało, wprowadziłem się, i teraz... Nic. Nie wiem co ze sobą zrobić. Mam wrażenie że nic już nie sprawia mi przyjemności. Robię 10k kroków dziennie, gram w gry które zawsze były moim hobby, ostatnio nawet zrobiłem coś "nowego" i wykonałem prace ogrodowe, nic to nie daje. Jedynie czasem kawa czy energetyk da jakieś poczucie chwilowej euforii i radości ze wszystkiego co mnie otacza, ale to chwila i znowu wracam do tego mizernego stanu. Żeby było jasne, ja nie szukam nowych zainteresowań. Jest to dla mnie boleśnie jasne, że problem leży gdzieś we mnie, i w tym że mój mózg chyba zatracił umiejętność odczuwania przyjemności. Jak sobie z tym radzić (bez chodzenia na terapię)?
