For example in my culture there is certain types of meats/sausages made using blood, which older folks will happily eat be it out of nostalgia, cultural pride, or just different tastes but younger people find it disgusting.

For example in my culture kids don’t like certain raw-ish meats (blood meat) while some (usually older folks) might like it. I’ve heard peppers are disliked in Japan, vegemite in Australia, etc.

This is my home and we get a lot of tourists from all over the US as well as the world, especially from China, Japan, UK, and Germany. So I’m curious how many people from those countries actually know about our city. When I was in college there also seemed to be a lot of exchange students from 🇩🇪.

I had never even heard of him until then, and I’d like to think I’m somewhat politically conscious. When like less than a year ago multiple politicians were murdered in their own homes, and no one in office gave a shit then. Both sides are insufferable, and one side in particular has gotten to the point that it feels like we’re in the 1850s again and I’m so tired and ashamed of it. I can’t even talk to my parents about things as simple as grocery store snacks because they believe the democrats are paying companies to put chemicals in the food unless we go to this very specific expensive store that’s “safe” because the owners are Trump supporters etc etc. and then the shit with Iran on top of shit like that. But my rent just keeps going up.
