I'm traveling to Bangalore tomorrow and thought it'd be fun to meet some fellow musicians.

I'm a DJ, music producer, and sound engineer. I mostly produce electronic music and hip-hop, but I'm always down to explore new genres and experiment.

Been noticing this in certain songs, trailers, and audio posts…

Sometimes a dialogue, footstep, door creak, crowd noise, or random foley sound has this crazy sense of depth and space — like it’s actually happening right in front of you, not just coming from a speaker.

As a music producer, I’m curious:

What creates that effect? Is it the recording itself, stereo imaging, reverb, ambience, psychoacoustics, or some mixing magic I’m missing?

Would love to hear from sound designers, mixers, and fellow audio nerds.

I grew up thinking that by 30, I’d have a stable job, a settled life, a family plan, and maybe even a “Dad, don’t embarrass me” kid running around.

I had the corporate life. The good employee, the meetings, the emails, the salary credit messages — the whole package. But somewhere along the way, I chose to chase what actually made me feel alive: music.

So here I am, almost 30, trying to build myself as a DJ and music producer. Some days I feel like I’m one step away from making it. Other days, my brain wakes up and decides to become my biggest enemy.

One issue comes, I start fixing it. Before I can even process that, boom… another issue drops. Like bro, can I at least finish this?

At home, if I explain my situation — problem. If I stay quiet — also problem.

Bro, where is the adulting tutorial? Did everyone else receive the manual and I accidentally skipped it like add? 😭😂

Is everyone the same or it’s just me?

Just started watching From today and damn… this show is freaking awesome. The mystery, suspense, and creepy atmosphere have me glued to the screen.
No spoilers please 😭😂 but I’d love to know what everyone else thinks about it. Is it worth the ride till the end?
