UPS Ground Saver Flagged as USPS bu UPS Drop Off
I sold an old 35mm film camera to someone in Texas.
Included free shipping via UPS Ground Saver...saw the very clear warning not to drop it off at USPS.
I dropped it off at Staples, got a receipt, and went about the month of June. I checked the status, and it kept saying delayed. Finally, I went to the UPS website, and it directed me to USPS. From there, USPS says it wasn't paid correctly, and they're refusing to send the package to its final destination.
MERCARI tried to tell me that I dropped it off at USPS. I certainly did not. I sent them a receipt from the UPS drop-off at my local Staples...which flags the UPS Ground Saver as a USPS tracking.
I haven't run into this issue before. Anyone else? Should I be calling USPS as well as UPS for this? USPS seems to be in possession of the camera now.
