I hope Agnes somehow benefits financially from Oscar’s marriage to Turner.

I don’t see how she’d be entitled to any of Ms. Winterton’s/Turner’s money, but it seems unfair he lost most of his mother’s fortune only for him to be able to marry back into money and none of it trickle down to her.

What first names pair well with Wren for a middle name?

We're having a girl and our top choice so far is Isabel Wren (I'm obsessed with the nickname Bells), but we're having a hard time coming up with other names to consider that flow well with Wren.

Can someone tell me when the constant hungover feeling starts to go away?

I'm 6 weeks and 3 days and from the moment I turned 6 weeks I've just felt like I have a continuous hangover that cannot be nursed. No nausea or vomiting, which I'm so grateful for, but I'm so tired everyday when I wake up in the morning. I'm lucky that I only go into the office 2 times a week, but this week I was so tired I called out sick one of those days. When does this get better because I feel like I'm barely functioning? Is there anything I can do to feel better? I have been trying to keep up with running 2-3 times a week and walking on the off days.

Are these heart rates too high during my workouts now that I’m pregnant?

I’ll be 6 weeks pregnant tomorrow and I’d ideally ask this question to my OB but don’t have my first appointment for another 3 weeks.

I did it! I completed c25k ✅

And somehow I managed the strongest run of the entire program on this last 35 min run! Can’t wait to get under a 13 min pace one day.

Not really sure what to do from here but I suppose I’ll just keep running this w8d3 run 3 times a week, then maybe do the 10k program?

Is this heart rate concerning?

I’m (31f 5’1 144lbs) doing a c25k program and this was a 5 min warmup, 30 min run, 5 min cooldown I did yesterday. My pace during my run interval was 13’31 which I feel like is not even crazy fast but I was in zone 5 the entire time. Is this bad?

Edit: the route I run does have a bunch of rolling hills if that makes a difference

Week w8d2 done ✅

My first time running 30 mins straight in my life! I also managed to run 9 secs per mile faster than my 25 min w8d1 running segment.

Has anyone noticed a huge difference between Apple Watch run data and the 5k Runner app’s data?

Has anyone noticed a huge difference between Apple Watch data and the 5K Runner app?

I'm on W8D1 and I’ve noticed my Apple Watch and the 5K Runner app always give me really different stats for what should've been the same run.

Like today my Apple Watch showed my active 25 minute running segment as 1.80mi at 13'51"/mi pace. The 5K Runner app showed 2.32mi at 10'46"/mi for the same time window. That's a pretty significant difference in both distance and pace!

I've been using my Apple Watch data throughout my whole program so I trust that more, but I'm curious if anyone else has experienced this. Does the 5K Runner app calculate distance differently?

Finish the dreaded 20 min run!

Still can’t believe 7 weeks ago I was struggling though the 60 second intervals!

Cannot get under 175 bpm to save my life, is that normal?

Is anyone else running their intervals at 175-196 bpm?

I’m currently on W6D2 and I’ve noticed my heart rate is consistently hitting 175-196 bpm during my run intervals, no matter what I do. I genuinely cannot seem to keep it below 170 while running.

The weird thing is it doesn’t feel like I’m dying? Like it’s hard, it’s a challenge, but I’m not gasping for air or feeling like I need to stop. It just seems to be how my body responds to running right now.

For context: 31F, 5’1”, 149lbs, running on a hilly neighborhood route. I also take cycling classes and hit similar heart rates there too, so I think I might just naturally run high.

Anyone else experience this as a beginner? Is it something that improved over time as your fitness built up, or are some people just high HR runners? Would love to know I’m not alone!

Just finished W5D3 ✅

I’m doing the 5k Runner app’s c25k program and W5D3 isn’t the 20 min run, which honestly I’m grateful for because this run was challenging (I wish I could get my heart rate down more during my runs but my neighborhood is hilly which makes it difficult)

I’m doing W6D1 tomorrow which is almost identical except its 10 mins run intervals instead of 8 mins. Wish me luck!

I'm sure it's not really a big deal whatever program I'm using but thought I get some thoughts on what to do.

I've been doing the 5k runner app's c25k program since Week 2 (after my zenlabs c25k free trail ended) and I'm doing W5D2 tomorrow. I was just looking on the NHS website and noticed how different the running intervals looked. For the NHS one you do you first continuous 20 mins of running on W5D3, then go back to run/walk intervals until W6D3, then it's continuous running until the end of the 9 weeks. For the 5k runner app, you don't hit the first 20 mins of running until W7D2. So overall, there are less continuous runs with 5k runner.

Curious if there are any people who have done both or can way in on if it might be beneficial to do one over the other? Thanks!

I’ve been putting in my run data into ChatGPT and it’s been challenging me to strive towards negative splits and keeping my heat rate under control (which has definitely been a challenge because my neighborhood has a lot of hills).

Do others create goals for their individual runs?
