where did the "i love björk and bareback" thing come from?

SO, i saw that one post about the t-shirt shown on the "kid club" trailer (which i am very hyped about, but not the point of the post), and realized that i have never asked this even if i've been wondering for a while SO. where did it come from? i remember when like a year ago i wanted to find any picture saying something like "i ♥️ björk" for a video i was making and the first suggestion google gave me was the quote, and is such a specific thing that i can't wonder where it came from? i know you guys love joking about gay sex and björk so that's not the part that confuses me, just the very specific phrase— i've tried googling it but it just says it's an edgy internet joke which is not what i'm asking for!!!

thanks in advance everyone <333

found this guy who had a prediction come true and his book adapted into a movie (with a runtime of 173 mins nonetheless) in just one year

i assume the simpson in his username is for oj simpson, star of "student exchange" (1987, 88 minutes)

how do i make my new account usable?

hi everyone, first i want to apologize if anything here doesn't make sense, as english isn't my first language. however, i've been struggling with a pseudo problem for the last six months and i have decided to finally stop being shy and just ask because i'm getting tired and maybe the answer was incredibly easy and i was being stupid.

over the last months, i have made three different accounts, and i've ended deactivating all of them after around a month because they are just. ghosts. i know shadowban posts aren't allowed on the subreddit, but i do believe this is something else because this always happens on my new accounts: make it, follow people, comment on stuff, realizing it's been like two weeks and no matter how many people i interact with i don't even get one like (which ik sounds egoistical but i mostly use twt for fandom-related-stuff where is more normal? to interact and follow each other), try interacting with a side account and realizing that i don't get the notifications of said interactions. is not that my account, follow or replies are not there, because if you open the tweet / followers list you can find mine easily, but no one ever gets the actual notification.

and at first i didn't think this was weird because i understand twitter might limit accounts a little when they're new, but it always ends up being over four weeks with no luck and at that point i may as well use a private account. i remember this kinda happened too on previous years, but it would notify of replies and it would get fixed after accepting something about contacts or number. so, i'm wondering if there is any way of fixing this nowdays?

anyways, i hope this isn't a stupid question and i apologize if anyone else has asked before but i really could not find it!!

tim and gregg happy moments

i got this video on my tl (which, btw, go watch if you are an unity head or you just like seeing them not miserable) and at first i thought "aw, one hour of them not being terrible to eachother!", but then i started thinking and making mental math.

including all seasons, oscar specials, the trial, shorts, bonus content and more, there is *at least* 4765 minutes of ocatc related media, which (roughly) is EIGHTY hours of ocatc related-media. this video (which includes in-character interviews, which i did not add) lasts an hour and eleven minutes, which means that out of EIGHTY hours of five-bagger comedy just one of these hours has been spent on tim and gregg treating eachother nicely. and i definetely missed and forgot a lot of stuff (i only made the math with the media available on letterboxd), which only makes this hour tiny in comparison... which to me is funny, because in a way these very small and rare moments are a part of why i think the show is so good.

but, i thought it was funny and interesting enough to share lol

(edit: added the word "minutes" bc i'm stupid and forgot to)

[META] searching for any ooc interviews about the show

Hey guys! i've relatively recently started getting into OCATC, and as someone who's kinda both comedy nerd and a film nerd, the show makes me extremely happy and i feel like i could talk about it for hours— not just because of the great comedy (some of the objectively best jokes and bits i've seen in my life come from the show), but specifically because of the "character writing", for lack of a better word. i think tim, gregg and their relationship are perfectly crafted and so well done, portrayed and have so much intent and thought behind of them that it definetely stands out compared to other comedy shows that don't treat their characters as seriously (while also still being ocatc and not an overly dramatic show or movie— not that i'm expecting them to be "succession" lol).

i especially love the relationship between the two (not even in a ship way— i just think is obvious that there is a lot of subtext and deliberate choices about their relationship in many ways, regardless of how you read them or interpret them and even if you see them just as jokes), so i wanted to see if tim and gregg have ever said something slightly more in depth about it, their characters or... idk, even how they make the show would interest me. aside of the reddit AMAs, i have mostly purely found "interviews" where they are in character rather than actually talking about their real thoughts, so i thought i should ask here! like, really, not that i mind or i was expecting anything different from them, but... does anybody know about any interview that might give me some sort of insight on how they see the show? even if it's just the technical aspects?

thanks to everyone who answers and sorry if this is makes no sense or is weirdly worded!

matt and jay's taste in comedy/comedians?

hello everyone! i apologize if this has been asked or talked about before, but i couldn't find any post related to the topic so i decided to make my own.

basically, i'm a huge comedy fan, and i mostly enjoy "weird" comedy, and i couldn't help but notice that multiple of the non-conventional comedy shows i enjoy seem to have a fanbase that overlaps a lot with ntbts' own— some examples being "the rehearsal" and "on cinema at the cinema". the thing is, every time that i've been really into a comedian, i can't never help but notice that most of the "weird comedy" industry seems to know or have worked with eachother in some way, or at the very least mention other comedians' work in a positive light... but i can't find anything about matt and jay's taste or bonds (?) in the comedy industry (aside of, i guess, glenn howerton) .of course i know that they would probably call themselves filmmaker/musician before calling themselves comedians, and that most of the examples you could think of are american shows while they're from canada, but i was curious to know if any of you guys know if they've ever mentioned anything about what comedy shows and comedians they like? or if they've ever referenced someone's work on the show?

the only thing i know is that jay follows ocatc on instagram, and, apparently (but don't quote me on this), gregg turkington was supposed to play jay's manager on the movie... but that's as much as i know. thanks in advance to anyone who might have something to contribute to the conversation!
