Dual mil spouse stationed 60 miles apart. Will she need to apply for CNA or will she automatically get BAH?

My wife(AF) will be pcs next month. I’m (Army) currently residing in the barracks and had to apply for CNA since our bases are over 50 miles apart. I’m still waiting to get my paperwork approved, will she need to do the same? What is the distance limit for BAH in the Air Force? She just recently got a sponsor but they’ve never dealt with something like this so he’s not really sure how to answer.

Is it possible to go from Army active -> AF Reserve/Guard -> AF active?

My wife is in the Air Force & it’s been so difficult working things out to even get her stationed near me. I’m thinking about transferring to AF once my contract is up with the Army, I do hear that AF hardly takes prior service army for some reason I’m not sure how true that is. What would be the best steps to take to transfer over, reserves or guard? Would it be easier to go active duty from there or would it be the same if i were to transfer from army ad to air force ad?

Anyway to widen narrow boots?

Recently bought these Tony Lama boots and after a few hours they feel uncomfortable from being a bit narrow/ tight on the sides. They’re not new so im assuming they’re already broken in. I’ve heard boot barn can stretch boots, would that be worth looking into? Thank you
