Merging watch histories

I had set up Jellyfin on one server, and I ran into issues with it and ended up setting up another Jellyfin instance on another server, with the same content. Now I've finally gotten the first server working again, but I have diverging watch histories on both servers.

Is there any way to transfer my watch history from one server to the other, such that it will include the history from both servers? So, for example, if I watched episodes 1, 2, and 4 of a show on server A, and episodes 3 and 5 on server B, then the resulting database shows me as having watched episodes 1-5.

Thanks!

How to stop syncing bookmarks that come from profile.json?

Hi, I use Firefox Sync to keep my extensions and bookmarks synchronized across computers.

I also experiment with a bunch of different Linux distributions, and there's a very annoying tendency as of late where many Linux distributions will "helpfully" add distro-specific bookmarks to the profile.json file. What I'm finding is that as a result, every time I launch Firefox on such a distribution, all of those bookmarks get re-added to my bookmark toolbar, and then those synchronize across all my computers.

Is there any way to make this stop, or at least to get Firefox to stop automatically re-adding the bookmarks every time I launch it, short of modifying the distribution files? (which will just get reset the next time things update anyway)

How'd they manage such tight match cuts?

I've been watching the whole series in order lately (having only seen a smattering of episodes in syndication as a kid) and I'm really struck by how good a lot of the effect shots are, especially the match cuts whenever there's a quick change. Are there any behind-the-scenes things out there showing how they pulled it off?

Doing stuff like that is tricky even with today's instant-feedback digital production, and the fact they were able to do it so consistently well, sometimes even including background and extras' movements, with 1960s production technology is absolutely incredible to me.

Two episodes I just saw which really stood out to me in that regard were "The Corn Is as High as a Guernsey's Eye" (with Samantha appearing in the lobby while random people walk by) and "The Trial and Error of Aunt Clara" (with Samantha changing between her human and witch clothes).

The crowd movement match cuts aren't perfect by any means but they're still damned impressive.
