With Boredom, MS Paint, and a couple hours to spare, I made my own Getter Robo. INTRODUCING, GETTER GUARDIAN!

Built as a defensive measure against anything that tries to invade the Earth, Getter Guardian comes equipped with a large roster of weapons in its arsenal!

GETTER-1

-Guns that can be swapped out for each hand, this process can be done during combat operations without issue. These guns are always deployed as shoulder cannons in Getter-3.

-Arm spikes, because why not. These become the Leg Spikes in Getter-2.

-The Ultra Getter Tomahawk, an enormous Battle Axe that folds in and telescopes out when needed. All Getter combinations have access to this weapon.

GETTER-2

-The Needle Drill, a streamlined drill mounted on the left arm, able to be launched like a missle, but it has to be retrieved manually. This Drill is restricted to only being a melee weapon on Getter-3.

-The Piston Puncher, mounted on the right arm, replacing where a normal hand would be. The piston increases the power behind a punch, but sacrificing the ability to have fingers. This arm becomes a rear stabilizer in Getter-3.

-The Ultra Getter Tomahawk, an enormous Battle Axe that folds in and telescopes out when needed. All Getter combinations have access to this weapon.

-Leg Spikes, for enhanced kicking.

GETTER-3

-Thruster Hands, because it didn't have enough weapons yet.

-Shoulder Cannons, from Getter-1's Arm Guns.

-The Ultra Getter Tomahawk, an enormous Battle Axe that folds in and telescopes out when needed. All Getter combinations have access to this weapon.

-The Needle Drill, from Getter-2. The launching capability is not carried over to Getter-3, so it's restricted to only being a melee weapon.

The Getter Jets are individually named, so that the combinations are distinguished by more than a number.

Red Jet: Falcon

White Jet: Wolf

Yellow Jet: Kangaroo

THE ENEMY HAS DEPLOYED SOME SORT OF NEW WEAPON. THE ORBITAL DECIMATION ARRAY (ODA) IS BEING TAKEN OUT, PIECE BY PIECE.

This week, CHOP-89 and CHOP-41 have been taken out by a new superweapon from the Enemy, some sort of giant space H#rse with a decoy equine for a tongue. The incident has been dubbed "ORBITAL EQUINE" and investigators are working to uncover what this mysterious new weapon is. REAPER-7, which orbits the planet near CHOP-89 and -41, was attacked, but was left barely functional. Extensive Repairs and Refits are underway, while stored footage from REAPER-7 is being developed. During the attack, REAPER-7's cameras lost connection, and switched to their memory banks.

CHOP-89 Status: Presumed Lost

CHOP-41 Status: Presumed Lost

REAPER-7 Status: Under Extensive Repairs Post-Incident

NEW CASUALTIES AS OF NOW:

CHOP-3, -77, -81, -90, -61, -62, -63

REAPER-1, -2, -3, -5, -10

LESB Experimental Satellite

We're losing more and more parts of the ODA, and High Command is mostly focused on the enemy ground forces. Our soldiers would be dead and decimated without the ODA. What the H#rse am I meant to do about this?!

Remember when Tomica made some mechs? Probably not.

"Tomica Hyper Rescue Drive Head Mobile Emergency Police"

Just discovered it after a deep dive on Tomica Hyper Police stuff, and honestly, the giant robots look like Super Sentai robots, but they've been styled after Gundam. I like these obscure robots, they're pretty neat.

The show's original run was only from April to December 2017. 2017 WAS 9 YEARS AGO. I'M OLD, YOU'RE OLD, WE'RE ALL OLD!

(But it's not the first or last time Tomica made mechs, but that's a story for another day.)

The Long Reach Excavator, because sometimes you need a longer arm.

A Long Reach Excavator, a variant of a normal Excavator, is a normal Excavator, but with a longer arm. This one is the CAT 395's Long Reach Variant, with a long reach of 28 meters. (About 1102 inches or almost 92 feet in American Units.)

(CAT themselves said that the arm was 28 meters long, so I'll trust them.)

...but there exists a variant of this kind of Excavator with an EVEN LONGER ARM! UHDs, or Ultra High Reach Demolition Excavators, have an even longer and slightly more articulated arm designed specifically for demolishing tall buildings. Remember: All UHDs are Long Reach Excavators, but not all Long Reach Excavators are UHDs.

The Circuit Judge, but it's been modified to become a pretty good shotgun.

It's definitely not the Meta considering it's a CIRCUIT JUDGE of all cores, but it works well despite it being a Revolver. With surprisingly decent range for its spread, enough damage to one-shot a normal player from a close-ish distance! IT'S THE REVOLVOLVOLVER!

Maybe we should do something.

Look, with the LunarX situation and Fish leaving and all the union stuff... I want to do something about it. I'm not sure how or what we could or should do, but I just want to take action. But please don't riot, remember, there are still good people working for LunarX, like Ash.

We, as a community, hold a lot of power. Right now, in the eyes of LunarX, we're just some random subreddit, nothing to be worried about. But we're a community of theorists, a community of talented, smart people, able to find the tiniest of details. We're a collective, but here we are, watching from the sidelines, doing basically nothing. We have power, as a collective of theorists. We just need to use that power for good.

I don't know what we should be doing, but it just feels wrong to me that we're watching and doing nothing to help the Theorists and their Union. We need to do something, ANYTHING!

We, as a community have a voice. We just need to make LunarX listen, and recognize the Theorists and their Union.

We have a voice, we just need to use it.

Just, please don't commit crimes or start riots for the theorists still working for LunarX. Don't give the Theorists still working for LunarX more problems to deal with...

ATTACK OF THE FRENCH: PART ONE

Out of boredom and a half-cooked idea that was baked with a broken oven and a can of ignited thermite, I made this. The power of MS Paint is surprisingly large.

Enjoy.

Part 2 of my AU that I don't know what to call, they jerry-rigged drone jaeger parts with normal jaeger parts!

Here we see Drone Jaeger MK-1.5, dubbed "Hunter Ajax" by the pilots and mission control, getting ready to fight some kaiju after Striker Berserker's seventh deployment.

Now you may be wondering, weren't these all evil? And to that I answer, yes, kind of.

The MK-1s were originally taken over by the precursors in an attempt to subjugate humanity with our own weapons, which failed due to the feedback loop sent from that CEO I forgot the name of. Meanwhile, the MK-2s were killed by Apex fighting for the PPDC, and they weren't even built yet before the MK-1s were taken over and (mostly) killed.

(In canon we don't get much of an explanation why these drone jaegers look different so I'm just splitting the PC:TB Drones and the PC:U Drones into two different Jaegers)

Anyway, you may be wondering where we got the parts for "Hunter Ajax" while Sydney Base was beefing up it's defenses, and I do have an explanation from that.

Way, way down in the Sydney Base Shatterdome, maintenance opened up a Jaeger Part Storage Area hoping for more parts to repair Striker Berserker if need be. Instead, they found the mostly intact body of a Drone Jaeger MK-1 that was never completed, but instead brought here for research and forgotten. They also found the remains of a Drone Jaeger MK-2, including the twin-barrelled shoulder cannon. So, they linked together the Head of the Drone Jaeger MK-2 to the neck of the incomplete MK-1, and affixed the shoulder cannon to the upper left arm of the MK-1. They also installed a spare nuclear reactor in the body becuase it wasn't corrupted with Kaiju Organic Parts. They just did this to test whether things worked for research, but they soon ended up using it out of necessity due to Striker Berserker being on life support due to their seventh deployment not going very well.

And in between the seventh and eighth deployment, the Sisters of the Kaiju send more kaiju, assuming that they killed or at least mission-killed Striker Berserker. Meanwhile, the very much scared Sydney Base beefed up The Drone Jaeger MK-1.5 and attached the other spare arm of Hunter Vertigo and the Taser Hands of November Ajax. Then, with the kaiju swarm getting close to Sydney Base, they sent out their only hope.

And honestly, it won, but just barely. And if you were wondering why it wasn't corrupted and turned into a kaiju itself, well...

-The Head of the MK-2 doesn't have the Kaiju Brain, I headcanon that it's stored in the body

-The Body of the MK-1 was in that early stage between "add parts" and "install kaiju organic stuff" before it was seized from the stopped production lines and brought to Sydney Base by researchers.

After the battle, all the parts were pretty much at their limit and would break if not given a break, so they put it back into storage for intense repairs. It was only deployed two more times, only to cover for Striker Berserker when it was under repairs or maintenance.

Emergency First Mission: Success, Heavy Internal Reinforcements and Repairs. Nuclear Reactor Upgraded, Taser Hands Upgraded.

Second Mission, Cover for Striker Berserker, Flawless Victory, Kaiju successfully sniped by experimental improved K-Rocket ammunition.

Third Mission, Cover for Striker Berserker, Flawless Victory, Second use of Taser Hands on a deployment so far.

And after deployment three came Striker Berserker's Tenth mission, and after that Sydney Base could defend itself. And so, "Hunter Ajax", the Drone Jaeger MK-1.5, was put into the Shatterdome Hangar, right next to Striker Berserker, just in case the defenses of Sydney Base fails, and Striker Berserker needs backup.

On an Unrelated note, I hear that Sydney Base is producing new analog drone jaegers that run on old technology like the mark-3s, but with radio waves and nuclear reactors. But that's just a rumor, right?

A headcannon for what happened to Striker Berserker after defending Meridian City

I was just lurking in the subreddit when I remembered the existence of Striker Berserker, and hey, what do you know? We don't see 'em destroyed while they're defending Meridian City!

Then I checked the Pacific Rim Wiki, which, while as trustworthy as Wikipedia, was good enough, and saw that yes, the Status of Striker Berserker is unknown.

So I thought of a kind-of AU of PR:TB (Pacific Rim: The Black) and just spent some time drawing Striker Berserker in what I thought they would look like post-Meridian City Defense.

//If you haven't finished Pacific Rim the Black, then perhaps don't go past this warning.//

Okay, so after the fall of Meridian City, (this is where the divergence point is) Herc Hanson finds a Jaeger Pilot who ejected during the Defense of Meridian City and they both get Striker Berserk back into working order after a few minor repairs (putting a transparent plastic sheet over the damage on the conn-pod and burying Cooper). Then, they somehow walk Berserker all the way to Sydney Base using luck, spite, and the Jaeger's best attempt at running.

After getting Striker Berserker to Sydney Base, it undergoes minor repairs (replace like half the front of the conn-pod, fix the scratches and dents, and refill the chest rocket launchers.) and is soon deployed to fight off some Kaiju sent by the Sisters of the Kaiju, several Category 3 and 4 Kaiju that would not go down easily. But after this initial wave of Kaiju, Striker somehow emerges intact and barely operational, one arm fully missing and the other without it's inferno blades, the rocket launcher empty and the pilots, Herc Hanson and some other pilot, exhausted.

And so, Striker Berserker is brought back for extensive repairs, helped along by the Multitude of spare parts from other Jaegers (I assume at least some of the Jaegers defending Australia were based here at some point, along with their spare parts.). And so, with the spare arm and some of the chest armor of Hunter Vertigo (Abandoned), Striker Berserker is deployed again (They DID salvage the left Blaze Gauntlet of Striker Berserker, and installed it on Hunter Vertigo's spare arm).

Five Deployments pass, without much issue other than a couple scratches and dents, and you may be wondering, how have the Precursors not custom-made a Kaiju to kill it yet? Well, it's pretty simple. The pilots of Striker Berserker keep getting concussions, and so they swap them out every single deployment, along with the gradual repairs and upgrades, the pilot swapping just makes Striker Berserker completely unpredictable every single deployment. The first deployment, the Precursors started cooking up a Kaiju to destroy Berserker. after it won against a Cat 4 Kaiju in it's second fight, the Precursors deployed their Berserker-Killer kaiju and thought they'd win. HOWEVER, Herc Hansen and random pilot #1 were swapped out after the second deployment due to concerns of brain damage from all that fighting. And so, Striker Berserker got two new pilots with a different fighting style, and a Jaeger to use it. And so, the Striker Berserker killer got destroyed by Striker Berserker because the new pilots fought differently and used the remains of the previous kaijus to their advantage, winning without much damage to Striker Berserker and successfully defending Sydney Base. The Precursors, learning this, mostly just focus back on invading the rest of the Earth and kind of forget about Sydney base. So, many many deployments later, we get to the seventh deployment, where a Category-5 Kaiju is sent by the Sisters of the Kaiju to finally destroy Striker Berserker. Striker Berserker just barely comes out on top, a large gash on the left top side of the chest, the right hand torn off and gone, and some big dents and scratches on Hunter Vertigo's arm. After they got Striker Berserker back into Sydney Base's shatterdome, Berserker's lower legs collapsed from stress and heavy damage.

And so, they replaced the lower legs with November Ajax's spare leg parts, installed the spare M-19 Morning Star (look, Titan Redeemer is gonna lose that giant wrecking ball at least once, so it's nice to have some spares handy.), installed one of Valor Marauder's spare arm rotary cannons(it took a while to get the cannon back into working order.) on Hunter Vertigo's arm, plugged the gash with Hunter Vertigo's armor, the spare Cyro Cannon, and some spare metal parts.

And so, the eighth deployment combat tests the new parts with veryyy good results. Barely even a dent as Striker pummeled the two Category-3s with the Morning Star, Cryo Cannon, K-Rockets, Blaze Gauntlet, and Rotary Cannon mounted on it. And so, the Sisters of the Kaiju eventually learned to not attempt an invasion of Sydney Base.

Pictured above is the Ninth Deployment, the second to last official deployment of Striker Berserker, where it beat three Cat-4s to death with the help of a big rock the pilots found. After the tenth deployment, where Berserker sustained minimal damage, the defense systems of Sydney Base were finally upgraded enough to kill kaiju on their own. And so, Striker Berserker was put into long-term storage, and never again was Striker Berserker deployed to defend Sydney Base, as it could finally defend itself.

But, there's a local saying about Striker Berserker behind the walls and defenses of Sydney Base, almost like a song, without a rhythm.

When the guns fall silent,

When the turrets go quiet,

And when our walls break,

One last Jaeger rises to defend us, when everything's at stake

No matter the damage, it fights on

For the past and the future, and beyond.

Striker Berserker, who will never fall,

The final defender, always standing tall.

Defending Sydney Base, and protecting us all.

And that's it, that's everything I thought about for this AU. This segment is here for a simple explanation of the modifications to Striker Berserker.

First Post-Meridian City Deployment: Arm almost fully missing and barely salvagable, cauterizing blades destroyed, Hunter Vertigo's spare left arm installed to repair the damage, along with some of the chest armor.

Second Deployment: Flawless Victory, Pilots swapped out afterwards for the first time.

Third Deployment: Flawless Victory against Striker Berserker Killer, Cat-4 due to the Precursors underestimating Striker Berserker

Fourth Deployment: Flawless Victory

Fifth Deployment: Flawless Victory

Sixth Deployment: Flawless Victory

Seventh Deployment: Barely Won, more damage, repairs and modifications described below. Legs collapsed from stress and damage, replaced by November Ajax's spare legs. Hunter Vertigo's arm repaired, one of Valor Marauder's spare rotary arm cannons was installed on the outer forearm armor. Right hand replaced by spare M-19 Morning Star from Titan Redeemer. Left hand repaired. Large gash in the upper left side patched up by relocating the chest armor a little more up and installing a spare Cryocannon also from Hunter Vertigo.

Eight Deployment: Flawless Victory

Ninth Deployment: Flawless Victory

Tenth and Final Deployment so far: Flawless Victory, Striker Berserker put into long-term storage, weapons still installed, juuuust in case.

And if you were wondering why Sydney Base didn't make their own Jaeger from spare parts, they didn't have the capacity to make or have a spare core or crotch unit for a Jaeger.

They did have a spare Striker Berserker conn-pod that they cannibalized for parts and used to repair the damage to the conn-pod when Striker Berserker arrived at Sydney Base. (I headcannon that the connpod is separated into half and half and sub-divided from there to make repairs easier if a Jaeger goes through a 'Gipsy Danger vs Knifehead' level of conn-pod damage.)

And that's all. That's it! You can go now, rest your eyes, maybe? That's everything about my "What if Striker Berserker was dragged to Sydney Base and upgraded" AU of Pacific Rim: The Black (PR:TB). I'm gonna take a nap because my eyes are tired from drawing Striker Berserker for TEN HOURS on MS Paint (it has layers now) alright goodnight r/PacificRim and have a good day.

Since u/KaijuBird-R has made a mech contest, and we can't use pictures in comments, I am now forced to make a separate post. Presenting the YMT-10 Dimwitch.

The YMT-10 Dimwitch is kitted out with:

-One Kharkiv Model V-2 for the internal motors

-One General Electric GAU-8/A Avenger Rotary Cannon

-One Imported Japanese Railcannon

-A stolen borrowed Su-57 Felon

-Some Arquebus Arms imported from Rubicon 3 (Ac6, no not Assassin's Creed or Ace Combat, THE OTHER GAME FRANCHISE WITH AC AS IT'S INITIALS)

-Tracks aquired from several T-34-85s (last slide to see both sides of the tracks)

-Landing Gear made from sheet metal and hot glue

-A Challenger 2 Turret that nobody was using

And with all of this, it can transform into THREE FORMS!

-Full Deployment Mode (Slide 1)

-Tonk Mode (Slide 2)

-Stelth Flight Mode (Slide 3)

(as a reminder, this is based off the general look and features of the YMT-05 Hildolfr, pictured in tank and deployed mode as reference images in the last slide.)

Now, u/KaijuBird-R, please consider my proposal. But for anyone else who wants this, I am willing to produce some for you. (Funding First, Production After.)
