Personal experiences with IM cast?

I almost got tattooed by someone from one of the new seasons at a convention. We talked about my idea on the first day and she said she had time and asked me to DM her some references. By late on the second day, I still hadn’t heard from her on a time, so I went over and talked to her again. Once again, she said she had time, and we talked about her rates and the tattoo I was going to get. The next morning, I got a DM from her saying she couldn’t do it. She strung me along all weekend when I could have gotten tattooed by someone else and it was really annoying.

Anyways, that’s my only experience meeting a contestant. I have seen Jorrell and Elva Stefanie in passing but never spoke to them. What about you?

Throwback: Central Park on Allure after Texas had a hard freeze

I believe this was early 2023? It was especially cold in Texas around then and Central Park couldn’t handle it. It was almost dystopian.

My spin on LWTL art

I was looking for t-shirts for my upcoming trip and wasn’t happy with any of them, so I drew my own and put my own spin on it. I haven’t pressed the shirt yet but I already can’t wait to wear it!

Which season has your favorite intro?

I think mine is tied between season 10 (Return of the Masters) and season 12 (Battle of the Sexes). I also enjoy season 5 (Rivals) and season 13 (Turf War). Basically any season where they actually put effort into the intro 😂

Should “report cards” count when picking the winner?

I think the general consensus in this sub about JCD and Kruseman is that their master canvases were dope, but they still didn’t deserve to win the title. And if report cards did matter, how exactly do they choose the winner in that case? Season 6 comes to mind — Kruseman, Chris The Marine, and Matt all had major ups and downs that entire season (I think all 3 ended up in the bottom at least twice each). But then you look at season 5 where Cleen dominated everything all season and the choice is clear.

And as a side note, while we’re on the topic of report cards…how the hell did Mark Longenecker make top 4?? Someone needs to calculate what contestant was in the bottom for the most amount of time in their season. I would be shocked if it were someone other than Mark lol

Each week, viewers will SCOUR your ability to live mas at inkmaster.spike.com.

America’s vote will have a MASSIVE impact on the live finale. There will also be a Taco Bell Consumer Jury that will select one artist to eat a Cheesy Gordita Crunch every time Dave Navarro says the word “tattoo”.

(Mods, we need a shitpost flair 😂)

Found this on my phone and I should have known how sassy she would turn out to be 😂

She’s almost 6 now and has the most attitude of any dog I’ve ever seen. 💙

Who is the worst contestant ever?

Who was SO BAD you couldn’t believe they made it on the show? I think mine is CeeJay from season 2 (with LT from season 5 as a runner up). Awhile ago I went through CeeJay’s insta and her work….has not improved lol

I drew Ink Master people as cartoon possums, part 4.5?

I didn’t realize I was single handedly holding down the content in this sub right now 😂 anyways, I am still sick, and haven’t had much energy to do much of anything, including drawing. But much like the Season 13 YouTube “finale”, here’s a totally unsatisfying substitute for the whole thing!

EDIT: I FORGOT THE TAIL. AND THE TATTOOS. Excuse me while I cry myself to sleep.

Anybody else annoyed with Season 13’s loose definition of “Midwest”?

It feels like the Midwest team was just a dumping ground for everyone who didn’t quite fit in the other teams…I mean, Colorado? IDAHO???? I will give them a pass for Oklahoma, but barely. IMO Kelly was the only one truly from the Midwest (Illinois).

I used to be a public library director until my chronic illness made me quit. Now I make library art.

This is my way of keeping a foot in libraryland, but I definitely miss working in a library. Anyone else had to quit for health reasons?
