Barclays Center “The Key” Club Seats Food?

Hello! Has anyone in here sat in the JetBlue Key club seats during a concert at the Barclays Center? I’m looking at Olivia Rodrigo tickets for my wife and I noticed that the seats in section K7 said they come with complimentary food/drink while the seats in K2 do not say that. I assumed all of the “Key” club seats would have the same amenities so just curious if anyone had experience with it.

Thanks!

Pegasus 41 vs Guide 18?

Hello all!
With it being Amazon Prime Day(s) I figured it would be a good time to get a second pair of running shoes, currently my only pair is an ASICS Novablast 4 that are a half size too big for me because I got them heavily discounted at an REI garage sale.

I used to be a semi-frequent runner and ran a couple half marathons in my Novablast 3s (which did fit correctly lol) but my wife and I had a baby back in September and I really fell off the running wagon until recently. I’m 20 pounds heavier now (200), signed up for another half this November, and have started back up with like 6 miles per week and will be working that up over the next few weeks and months. I used to care more about pace but I think going forward I really just want to focus on distance and stamina rather than speed.

I found some Saucony Guide 18s on sale on Amazon for about $75, and ended up finding Nike Pegasus 41s on sale for $90 at Dick’s Sporting Goods.

I’ve seen a lot of reviews saying the Pegasus’ are “dull” or “boring” because they’re not super engineered with a noticeable rocker and things like that. But I’ve seen others say that’s actually a good thing for daily trainers because it helps build leg strength, as the shoe is doing less work for you.

I have very high arches and I’ve read that the Guide 18s have a lower arch, and I’ve seen inconsistent reviews on whether the Pegasus 41s are good for high arches or not.

Either way they’re a good deal but I’m curious what everyone’s thoughts are!

“Pressure” Oscar Question

Hello all! I watched Pressure today at an AMC early access showing and really enjoyed it! Andrew Scott was phenomenal as always. I actually hadn’t even heard about this movie until scrolling through the “coming soon” section of my AMC app recently so I was happy to catch it and was pleasantly surprised!

I am not at all well versed in the process of vying for Oscar nominations, and I don’t think it was necessarily a movie that would get them, but I was curious what the general thoughts were on it’s awards chances so I did some googling and came across a few posts from this subreddit.

The first couple were from like a year ago when the movie was filming/in production, and the consensus seemed to be that it was definitely going to be in the Oscar conversation, and would hopefully be Scott’s first nomination (which I did think his performance was great)

Then the next posts were from just a few months ago when its release date was announced, and the comments were all people saying it was basically a death blow to be released in May and it had no shot at an Oscar and Scott would have to wait for another chance at a nomination.

But why is being released in May such an issue? I assumed they wanted to release it this week because of Memorial Day today and the anniversary of D-Day next weekend. Is it true that even if Scott had a phenomenal performance he has no shot at a nomination?

Hello!

My stick (a Sherwood CODE) broke recently and I’ve been looking around for what to replace it with. I’m considering prostockhockeysticks but the curve/flex I’m looking at isn’t in stock.

I started looking into refurbished sticks on hockeystickman but similarly didn’t find any for my curve/flex.

I came across DK Hockey online which sells a bunch of refurbished sticks (jetspeed, trigger, etc) for $85 each. I’ve found a handful of reviews and Reddit posts online talking about DK Hockey as a reputable seller in general, but I haven’t found anyone who has bought a refurbished stick from them. I know the general pros and cons of a refurbished stick but at $85 I feel like it might be worth just trying it out?

I’m a D-leaguer who has only played for a handful of years so if the refurbished ones don’t feel ”like new“ it’s not like I really have the skill to feel the minutia anyway lol
