been on oral minoxidil 5mg for 6 months now. Clearly more density and some extra body hair (one of my goals). No issues (I track blood pressure and heart rate).
I don’t feel I’m seeing the full effects yet - or maybe genetics are my ceiling now.
Simple question: has anyone tried 7.5mg? ; worried jump in side effects.
Any personal experience going from 5mg to 7.5mg?

Since I take it both for scalp and BEARD plus body hair; I don’t feel I’m seeing the full effects yet - or maybe genetics are my ceiling now.
Simple question: has anyone tried 7.5mg? I read studies about boosting BEARD or body hair (as ‘side effect’) way more than 5mg; but worried jump in side effects.

I’m really happy using the app old school way: I disabled all the AI stuff and now I focus on recovery, sleep, strain goals. Honestly AI felt a bit basic and cumbersome at the same time; depending on advice and questions.
I’m using a Claude project to track all my health insights long term / blueprint; and then Bevel for everything short term : intra-day training decisions.
I think they will over complicate things this way.
One AI tip? Maybe enable a new tab where the app can REALLY leverage all bevel plus apple health records and make tailored recommendations and detect hidden flags, etc and present them as a daily brief.
After years of trial and error lost in a sea of supplements, the pipeline I’d advise is the following:
STOP all supps if you are on anything. You will start from scratch here
Check your blood pressure consistently plus hba1c/diabetes markers plus good expanded hormonal and thyroid panel - go to GP to fix those if not optimal range (allow 2-3 months treatment if indicated before next step)
sleep 7:30-8:30h consistently and keep same window for at least 15 days
Triple check you are eating at least at your TDEE. Dont use a calculator; use activity device tracker as baseline. Err on the higher end. If you are dieting; stop it for 15 days altogether!
Make sure macros are balanced. Stop keto or any special diet for said period. 50% carbs / 25% protein / 25% fats
6)START daily 5mg tadalafil *same time* every day > best all around med to cover the bases with minimum side effects - no Rx needed in most countries. This one is superior to any stack of supps you will come up with
now, after 15 days on this, assess morning erections and while masturbating - hopefully all this will help some of you (barring any special medical diagnosis)
If nothing happens then you can go back to your supps trial and error; but maintain steps 1-7 and test one supplement at a time
Good luck
