Out of curiosity, what convinced you guys to get a Dreamcast? I'll go first.

I saw a video on sonic shuffle in 2015, and just seeing a Sonic version of mario party was, for some reason, very exciting for 9 year old me (I had secret rings but I hated it). Then I realized that it's only on the Dreamcast so I've always wanted to get one just to play it, but... parents were too poor. In 2023, I wanted to play Sonic Adventure, and I had a GameCube so I was considering getting the DX version, but then I realized that the DX version is... bad, so I skipped buying it. So I just decided to up and get a Dreamcast with Sonic Adventure. I was able to afford it, so how could I pass on it? It was honestly an amazing experience. Just seeing how surprisingly good the graphics are for a console from 1998 was very cool. Not only Sonic Adventure is my third favorite sonic game, but I became more of a Sega fan than I ever was before owning the DC.

Anyway, leave your answers. I'm interested to hear your guy's stories on what made you guys decide to get a Dreamcast.

I thought about getting Crazy Taxi for my dreamcast (despite a whole remake coming soon). Found out that there is a sequel to the game. So that begs the question, which one should I get or which crazy taxi game is the better experience? Crazy Taxi 1 or Crazy Taxi 2?

Edit: I was informed that World Tour is a new entry, not a remake.

I grew up with SA2 on the GC version. I didn't play the DC version until 2024. Seeing how it looked there genuinely made me wonder what went wrong during the porting job of the GC version.

P.S. Haven't went back to the GC version since then.

So my friend got a Sega Saturn (cool af). He was really happy about it, he's been wanting one for quite sometime, but he only has like one game for it (forgot what it was), and I know absolutely nothing about the Saturn (Dreamcast is more up my alley lol). I was wondering if you guys have any games that I could recommend my friend for his Saturn?
