Shopify App for Multi-Image Print Ordering?

Hey ... I'm looking for a Shopify solution for a print-on-demand workflow, and haven't been able to find the right app.

What I want is something like:

-Customer uploads 5 different images

-For each image, they can choose a different print size (A5, A4, 50×70 cm, etc.)

-They can then add them to the cart

-Each image + size combination needs to become its own separate cart line item, with the correct uploaded file attached to it

So ideally the cart would look something like:

Custom Print — A5 — image 1

Custom Print — A4 — image 2

Custom Print — 50×70 — image 3

Custom Print — A5 — image 4

Custom Print — A3 — image 5

The files then need to remain associated with the correct line item when we get the order on our end so we know how to print it.

By the way, is this something that already exists in Shopify? I feel like, with all the print-on-demand companies and services out there, it’s strange that you can only order one format per order. If you want to print another file in a different format, you have to place a completely separate order? But I haven't found it.

Or is it possible to program this by myself somehow? I'm not sure ...

Is it possible to stop the page-turn buttons from changing direction when rotating the screen?

I've been trying to figure this out but can't find a setting.

On my Boox device, when I rotate the screen, the physical page-turn buttons reverse their functions. So the button that was "Next Page" becomes "Previous Page" (and vice versa).

Is there any way to lock the button mapping so that each physical button always keeps the same function regardless of screen orientation?

Personally, I find the automatic reversal really confusing because it breaks muscle memory. I'd much rather the top physical button always did the same thing, no matter how I'm holding the device. Like what is the point of this? It's driving me crazy.

Am I missing a setting, or is this just how Boox works?

A podcast where they discuss one movie per episode without being annoying/obnoxious

I don't want to insult anyone ... But for some reason it seems really difficult to find a movie podcast where the hosts don't get under my skin. They're always at least slightly over the top ... And generally way over the top.

Does anyone know a podcast with reasonably pleasant hosts that talk about ONE podcast per episode and where the episode is just titled after that movie ...

... About classic or new movies that are fun to talk about ...

... And where I can listen for more than five minutes before having to turn it off?

This is basically my dream... To find THAT podcast.

I appreciate you!

Reading comics in neoreader

KOReader keeps crashing with larger files, so I'm trying to switch to NeoReader instead. My biggest issue is the page movement. When I use the normal mode, each press jumps too far down the page. I'd really like it to move in smaller increments.

If I switch to scrolling instead, the constant refreshing/flickering gets pretty annoying with Regal enabled. And if I choose Speed I can't activate smoothing .. So ...

Is there any way to either:

  • make the normal page movement scroll in smaller steps, or
  • use scrolling without all the refreshing/flickering? (While still being able to activate smoothing)

Curious what settings other people find the optimal setting for reading comics in landscape mode.

Weirdpatterns on the screen?

It looks like this... I attached an image. This is just happening with some comics and graphic novels which is what makes me doubt that it has something to do with the hardware. Has anyone encountered this? It's weird and annoying....

is it possible to select all on all pages at the same time?

ctrl-a only selects everything on the current page ... Indesign is pretty good, but some things are just very strange and convoluted ... maybe it's not even possible to do such a simple thing as selecting everything on all the pages at once? I mean, it should be the easiest thing in the world ... Come on!

Top and bottom margins are both 15 mm, but the bottom margin looks much smaller. Why?

I'm running into something strange in InDesign.

My page margins are set to:

  • Top: 15 mm
  • Bottom: 15 mm
  • Left: 20 mm
  • Right: 15 mm

I made the left margin slightly larger on purpose, but for some reason the bottom margin appears much narrower than the top, even though they're both set to exactly 15 mm.

Is there something in InDesign that can make equal top and bottom margins appear different? Is this related to optical alignment, text baselines, strokes, bleed, or some other setting I'm overlooking?

Has anyone else run into this? Any ideas would be appreciated.
