My first shawl completed!
Until now I had only attempted triangles and squares with my crocheting. Now I finished a shawl! The pattern is from Premier Yarns called Easy Granny Stitch Shawl and the yarn is Premier Colorworks DK in Cactus Flower (one of the new color ways). This was very easy, and after the first couple rows I did not have to look at the pattern). I’m currently making another one!

Gender neutral baby blanket
Finally finished this blanket! My step daughter is having her third baby and isn’t telling us the sex until the birth, it was fun to pick out neutral colors! Yarn is Premiere Yarn Painterly in Fireside. Middle is sc and border is moss stitch with a slip stitch finish. I tortured myself by wrapping the border with a whip stitch for durability (took forever). I restarted this one twice. I’m proud of this one!

Teacher under me sucks and I’m left to pick up the pieces
Have y’all had this happen? The math teacher in the grade level under me sucks. She only got through one unit (out of 8) last year and I was left to catch up the students AND teach my grade level curriculum. I just found out she only got through two units this year, so it’s going to happen again. Her students had no idea how to take tests because they didn’t practice. They didn’t know how to take notes or study. I’m so frustrated! That was a lot of work for me and I have to do it all again next year. I hope admin gets rid of her!
