Two weeks no IG

It's been two weeks of no Instagram and I keep feeling a tug to log back on so that I can gorge myself on other people's highlights. I know a few others that have found community on IG but I have only received low self-esteem and feelings of inadequacy.

But even with this knowledge, I still find myself wanting to log back on. I want to peek into the lives of others so I can feel a false connection.

Instagram is a like drug. I hate it.

Bought a house that came with rocks pt. 2

Thank you all for your help and kind words on my previous post regarding the surprise rock bounty in my backyard. Here is another batch of the collection. I'd consider these to be slightly more impressive based on pure aesthetics. As a reminder, these were all found buried in my backyard.

Bought a house, found lots of rocks scattered in the backyard. Here is a chunk of what I have dug up so far.

The previous owner lived in the house for over 60 years and it looks like he was a rockhound. There were also several pieces of petrified wood and obsidian that I have in a china cabinet. Other than those I have no idea what any of these rocks are.

I hate you

I was 6 when I said this to my dad. Or maybe I was 5. I remember we had a great day together. I think he took me to an airshow. I don't know what I said I hate you. I was a kid so who the hell knows why. All I know is he freaked the fuck out. Instead of taking the time to explain why that wasn't nice to say, he became enraged, like I MEANT what I said. I was a fucking kid. Why couldn't you take the time to explain why what I said was wrong?!

Irrigation Controller Upgrade

I currently have a Richdel 612PR irrigation controller and programming it is a freaking pain. I'd love to update to something with a better interface that also has Wi-Fi. I'm eligible for a rebate from my water district so the controller would ideally be listed on this list here. It will be housed in my garage so no weatherproofing needed but will need to be able to host at least 10 zones. I appreciate any recommendations.

Looking to Replace Ring Doorbell Camera

I don't like having to pay a subscription fee to use my doorbell camera and I'd rather have a doorbell camera that records 24/7 instead of just motion-activated video. I'm looking into a Reolink doorbell. My current Ring camera is hardwired. Would I be able to simply connect the existing hardwire to the Reolink?
