First time watching Miami Vice, was in the mood because of gta 6, heard about the bushido episode for a while, finally watched it and I understand why this ep is held in high regard. Jack sacrificing his life so only his friend is the one to put him out, castillo talking to the kid about samurai toshin reflecting himself and jack's relationship, and the final stand down was so damn good, kinda wished it ended in a sword fight between castillo and the guy with the machine gun, but surf's up pal from crockett was just as damn good. Best ep of miami vice so far.

After two and a half months of taking my time, just finished lonesome dove. The characters, the dialogue, larry mcmurtry's prose was nothing short of incredible, shedded tears after finishing. I'll be thinking about this one for a long, long time.
