Isopods with slugs

I'm keeping slugs and I'd like to put some isopods in there with them. I haven't kept isopods before, I was thinking of maybe getting powder orange or another powder isopods? Or if I'm getting my slugs from outside should I just get isopods from outside?
Humidity for the slug is 70%+ and house temperature, like 65-75. Slugs eat veggie scraps, cuttlebone, and a protein source (i have dried mealworms, dubias, and crickets rn) so the isopods will eat the same + leaf litter right.
I've read one person had isopods eat their slug but that it was when they were particularly hungry, and everyone else I read seemed to do fine keeping both.

Hardware removal after arthrodesis

I had a triple arthrodesis in January of 2025 to try and help with pain but it made it worse. I've since got a new orthopedist and she's having me do a CT scan to double check that it's fully fused.
If it is fused, she wants to try removing my hardware to see if that helps.
I was hoping to hear about others' experiences with hardware removal and if it helped your pain, as well as experiences with recovery. She said she allows patients to bear weight immediately after surgery and uses a walking boot instead of a cast. Thank you!

How to talk to doctor about elective amputation

I'm 25 and have club foot and have had multiple surgeries on it to try and reduce my pain, but it's only gotten worse and severely limits my ability to function on a daily basis. My last surgery was a triple arthrodesis a year and a half ago and my ortho suspects it didn't actually fuse fully.

I have a ct scheduled to find out if it did and if it isn't fused I want to bring up an elective amputation instead of trying to fuse it again.

I've been thinking about elective amputation for a few years, I've done a lot of reading and talked to other amputees and I feel pretty confident in my ability to make this decision but I'm nervous about bringing this up to my orthopedist. I'm afraid she will be dismissive of my pain. I'd love any advice on how to talk about it with her, how to be taken seriously, or what it's like talking to an orthopedist about elective amputation. Thank you

Doctor says they can't help me before ever meeting me

I got a referral from my primary care to a pain management doctor because of chronic pain that I have from a birth defect, and before I even got to schedule a consultation to see to the doctor they sent me a letter saying there's nothing they can do to help me
Edit: I get that it's probably better than going and wasting my time, it's just so incredibly disappointing when every attempt I make to be in less pain fails and now I have to wait longer to get a new referral and then I'll have to wait even longer for an appointment. It just sucks.
