Here is my review of the PP-D Czech supplementary ration.

The main entrée is the tuna, and with good reason. Lacking the classic “fishy” taste in tuna I have had before, it has a cool, tender texture and a noticeable, but not aggravating flavor.

The crispy bread was similar to rye crisps, but very light and airy, though lacking any distinct flavor other than being bread. You could tell that it had been made of some higher quality bread.

The drink was.. subpar. It wasn’t the most excellent thing in the world, but it got the job done, being sweet enough to enjoy, but still retaining a water amount.

The chocolate was top class, instantly crumpling upon bite and distributing throughout the mouth, spreading the sweet flavor, despite it being called “bitter chocolate” on the wrapping.

The spoon was made of wood, which was unusual, but not unwelcome.

I rate it a 8.6/10

Here is my review of the Spanish Breakfast-1 ICR.

First, the drinks.

The cocoa powder was absolutely superb. It took a minute to mix, longer than an IMP or MRE, but it was a sweet and fulfilling beverage. It did turns out a little more bitter than I desired, but the ration provides 30g of sugar in 3 sachets, so it worked out great.

The milk was.. milk. Nothing great to write home about.

The honey was different than I expected. At first, I had thought it crystallized, but it actually was just small parts at the top. It tasted like… honey.

The muesli was the penultimate event, and it was just great. No qualms at all with it. I warmed the milk in my microwave (because I didn’t wanna burn down my kitchen), and it paired well with the room temperature muesli. The fruit in it proved sweet as well.

The biscuits were rich, but not buttery, a flavor I couldn’t identify? Whatever it was, it was scrumptious with the honey and chocolate spread.

The chocolate spread, while I speak of it, is just like nutella. It was rich and nutty with the chocolate taste pairing well with the biscuits.

Now, something I didn’t expect, the toothbrush. I suppose Spain cares more for their soldiers dental hygiene than other countries 😂

Overall, a good ration! 9.2/10, only issue for me was that there was no protein, only carbs, but I guess that’s what happens when you need morning energy… and to brush your teeth.
