What’s good Houston. I tried to make the title catchy, or seem less “weird” than it is. But I failed 😂 It is what it is though lmao. Antywho, any spiritual souls looking for friendship, fun, and adventure?

I’m not a serial killer, a bible thumping maga maniac, or a conspiracy theory nut looking for “free and accepted” to let me into their illuminati Armageddon planning party. Nor do I have a little black juul stick that makes flashy lights, which matches my all black suit and shades. I’m just a normal dude that meditates a lot, intentionally tries to be a better bro every day, and high key really could use friends who don’t look at me crazy when I inevitably bring up spiritual matters.

Im looking for the people who find their happy place within their own minds. The people who like to talk about aliens, and the pyramids, energy and consciousness, and stuff as abstract as quantum theory. The people who will comment on auras, who listen to the intentions in people’s voices, who chooses BB King over Drake. The people who like to make their own incense, or speak to their pets like they’re their friends, or can give a dissertation on the mechanics of manifestation. I’m not talking about the performative TikToky “witches” that are god-spoused or the “enlightened” star children who comes from planet nibiru. I’m talking about the folks who are normal people that have one foot in this world and one foot in their lunar mansion or astral castle. Whether you were initiated, are a student of the quareia/bardon framework, got your mojo naturally from a spiritual experience, or even just got taught the things you know by your granny. If you got that special sauce, that’s matched with a grounded/authentic persona; you’re my type of person.

Activities may include but aren’t limited to:
Visiting the local metaphysical shops. Grabbing coffee and looking at crystals. Doing tarot pulls for each other and talking about each other’s auras. Walking through graveyards and pouring out tallboys for the dead homies. Visiting haunted places in Houston to see if they’re actually haunted and checking out random psychics to see if they’re actually psychic. Trying all the tacos spots we can find until we can determine who’s the best. Renting surons to go explore downtown with. Riding around buffalo bayou on clown bikes with cereal costumes and signs that say “do me next Mr cereal killer”. I mean… honestly the possibilities are endless.

Schizophrenia is a real thing and the signs that show that particular illness is present are typically very clear. Due to past experiences, I am no longer capable of being a support system to people who are struggling with their mental health in that way. Any interactions that exhibit the aforementioned signs of that particular mental health diagnosis will be promptly shut down after a clear encouragement of getting treatment has been communicated.

I am a dude in search of friends who are seasoned with the spiritual stuff. However… I’m also a father to two young women, and I happened to be raised in the Jason Vukovich/Gary Plauché era. That goes to say; if I can’t bring you around my daughters, then your safest bet is probably not to hangout with me.

Howdy, friends family and fellow hocus pocus homies. I hope y’all are doing splendidly this fine afternoon.

Recently, I started to create necklaces to give away to the folks I meet while driving for Lyft/uber. It’s been a lot of fun and has been helping me with mastering my carving and cabbing and bezel designing. It also give me the ability to step into my purpose and to make use of my niche esoteric abilities. However, I’m slowly running out of designs to put on my stuff; so I figured I’d come here and ask for ideas.

There are some caveats tho! I need designs that would work with specific manifestations. Every necklace I do has a specific manifestation placed on it, and a corresponding bindrune or word written in phonetic runes inscribed on the back. So whenever you comment with links or pics of your ideas, could you possibly include/write down the ideal manifestation with it?

I disclose to everyone that accepts one of my creations, that it does have manifestations placed on it and that the symbology on it has an esoteric origin. I’m not sneaking magic into “normal” people’s lives for S&G’s.

Requests:
The manifestations are simply concentrations of will, intent, desire, and energy. If anyone has any alternative methods of charging/energizing the manifestations/necklaces I’m very eager to test them out and will update later on with data concerning efficacy and consistency.

The material I use for the bezels is cheap, the stones I carve shit on are abundant and were given to me, and the cord I put the necklaces on comes from Amazon. But everything still costs money and I work full time as a rideshare driver to provide for my wife and kid and to pay for the ability to do this. So any and all money spells, abundance spells, or positive manifestations any practitioners want to do in my honor I will humbly and appreciatively be thankful for. I’m not asking for financial provision, but I am asking for spiritual support.

Awhile back I came into contact with a deity I believe stems from the hoodoo/yoruba pantheon. He wasn’t the nicest to me and I’ve been avoiding the city I met him in since our last contact. I’ve recently experienced a shift in my life that has been calling me back to the state and city where I interacted with this deity. And so here we are.

I’m searching for feedback from seasoned practitioners to see who it was I was actually interacting with. And how to best go about trying to contact them now and broach the misunderstanding we previously experienced. Im doing this because I have interacted in the past with oshun, and my positive experiences with her have left me curious if reconciliation is possible.

Context: I was in New Orleans when the encounter happened. This was over 10 years ago. When I first encountered the deity it was on the mystical street that was a few streets down from bourbon. The entity in question was sitting out in front of a shop that was physically different from the rest of the street. The shop had no door only a blanket covering the entrance. Outside the shop sat a man in a black pinstriped suit, with black silk dress pants and black crocodile shoes with silver tassel ends. He had a black cane with silver accents, and a skull engraved into the “face” and the end of the handle. The one facing me was plated with or painted with silver and the one facing the end of the handle was made from the same black wood as the handle itself. He wore a black fedora styled hat that had a black silk ribbon tied around the base of the head covering. It had alternating silver skulls and canines. He was smoking a cigar and his hands were covered in skull rings. He had black sunglasses on that were old styled, and weren’t polarized but were so dark they were impossible to see through. He was sitting on a wicker rocking chair you used to see on the front porches of historical houses. And the table that was next to him held two things. A black crystal ashtray, and a crystal ball.

Behind him sat a full length mirror, one of them that could be flipped around and was mirrored on both side. When I got to the point where the mirror was directly behind him, I turned away and when I turned back he was standing. And behind him was a completely different presentation than the physical image in front of me. The man in the mirror had a carved bone piece going through his nose. He had curved boar tusks going through his ears like gauges. He had a choker of canines and bicep bands of them as well as forearm bands of them. The cloth that held the canines was silk in sheen/texture, but I can’t remember the color specifically. It was either black/dark red/or dark purple. He also had a straw “skirt”, straw bangles on his ankles and upper biceps. And he held a staff with gourds and shells tied to it, with faces carved in oppositional directions on the top. In his other hand he held a traditional Yoruba styled club/bludgeon with palm fronds or straw tied around the handle?

The interaction I had with this entity was written about in the New Orleans newspaper. The story has since been scrubbed from the internet to my knowledge/understanding. There was a high speed chase involving a crème/white colored luxury sedan and a scaffolding collapse. I and two other individuals were the intended targets of those experiences. Before both incidents taking place the entity was seen standing in the vicinity but opposite of where the incident took place. There was another individual involved that was responsible for keeping me and the other individuals out of harms way. That individual has not appeared in my life again. However, my partner (who is also an individual born with spiritual gifts) has interacted with someone who’s claimed to be papa legba twice since we’ve been together. The most recent interaction was a week ago. Which was a day after the last time I had interacted with oshun. This deity is someone who I’ve suspected as being the culprit for my New Orleans experience in the past. So here we are. Tryna to figure out if it’s him or not.

All I am tryna do is figure out who I pissed off. Understand what their roles are so I can figure out why I pissed them off. And then I’d like to know how to “get ahold of them” so that I can begin to try and rectify whatever grievances they have with me. Because honestly, after I died and got brought back; I stopped being scared of close calls with death. And I’ve been methodically working on going back and addressing all the things in my past that have almost killed me. I’ve worked through the drugs I’ve worked through the familial abuse and I’ve worked through the street life and connections I had from that part of my life. Only thing left to address is the New Orleans experience and then I’m left with the experience that actually killed me; heatstrokes and welding.

I know that this is a lot. I understand that I sound batshit crazy. I don’t have time energy or care to try and convince anyone that I’m sane or that my experiences are factual/valid. If you’ve read all of this and all that you can come up with as a response is “go see a shrink” please save yourself and myself the time that that interaction will bring; and just keep the snarky comments to yourself. I’m not here to squab I’m here to learn.

I’m an experienced Germanic/Celtic pagan that’s been on a long road of “enlightenment” (no not the cliché i Am EnLiGhTeNeD bs) for the last 5 years. The journey started with me physically dying and getting brought back, and has taken friends, jobs, loves, and family from me. All ofc to add to the plot, to season the soul, and to better my life. But it’s been a lot.

Now that who I am is out of the way (and hopefully so are all the basic Becky“burn some sage” quips), I’m here asking for the spell recommendations because I’m in desperate need of help and lowkey I’m struggling to not slip into the desperation/lonely energy that always brings chaos and bs. I need to purge some nasty crappy energy that was carried from a period of homelessness into my new apartment. I also need to cleanse my house of depression, deep hurt, and laziness. I am also in need of friends and people who I can surround myself with that are aligned with what I’m on right now (soberness, making money, getting in shape, eating healthy). And I am desperately looking for a job that will help me to stack bread in a short time so I am able to get myself financially stable.

Anyways, context for why I am in need of spells for these things… I was having a hard time with my family and felt like there was some muck hiding somewhere I needed to take care of. I did a cleansing spell that was mixed with an attraction/alignment spell. It was less of a planned out creation and more of a guided by the guides kind of thing. The night after I put it into effect; I came home to find texts on my wife’s phone from someone who she had been previously talking to while we were together.

The two times she had been texting the person previously we had talked stuff through the whys and the what’s missing and what’s wrong and I thought we were on the same page. But when trying to understand her reasoning this time around she expressed that she was doing it to escape the reality of being with me and being stuck in our family. And she said that she didn’t tell me about it because she figured I’d be vindictive (despite the innumerable times of me telling her that if she was honest I wouldn’t be upset).

So I decided to crack open the tarot deck and see what I was missing and ooouuuuu the cards read me to bits. The gist of what they been saying g is to take a step back and peep the game. So that’s what I did and I’m honestly heartbroken when I’m being honest with myself. The honesty/loyalty and the changes that were promised aren’t there and if anything the treatment of me has only gotten worse. I’ve got grace and love for my wife and lowkey she’s the only friend I have and have had for the last couple years. So I’m trying to make things work. But I can see that she doesn’t want to. It’s not that she’s actively trying to sabotage the relationship. Or that she’s trying to use me till she finds someone better. But I can see that she’s not happy and doesn’t want to admit it to herself, so she’s slipping back into those old toxic dynamics within the relationship and allowing herself to say one thing while her actions/words/attitude say another.

I’m hoping that the spells will kind of clear out the cobwebs to help her make her choice and be truthful with herself about how she feels. And I’m hoping that the spells help me to see myself for who I am and to step back onto the path that was taking me where I’m supposed to go. I understand tho, mundane with the magical. So we’re going g to couples counseling too and we’re both looking for individual counselors.

Sorry for the long explanation. This is my first time asking anyone for advice and the amount of mental gymnastics I’ve been going through and I’ve been put through the last few days has my Tism ticking like a metronome. About 6 months ago I started doing a thing at work and manifesting people who I was supposed to meet. I’m an Uber driver for context. It didn’t work out so good at first, but eventually I figured out how to tweak it to make it decently effective. Nowadays; I can’t work now without at least 4/5 people a day crying, or having some sort of life changing conversation. Which is great don’t get me wrong. I love being able to be there for people and see people and love on them in the way(s) that I can. But I’m also broke at the moment. And I need to pay bills.

Lately I’ve been running a stoplight experiment and it went from a 25%+/- efficacy rate, with an average of 10-15 seconds for change to occur. To now, where it’s around a 75-85/90% efficacy rate, with an average of 5-7 seconds to occur and sometimes if I get into a really good flow state it’s instantaneous. What does this have to do with money? Well when I try to pull the energy towards me and I do the same process as with manifesting interactions or change in the environment… I end up with shit money at the end of the shift. If I simply let go and speak it into existence and will the bounty to come to me. It’s a crapshoot day (50-50 I’ll come out decently or come out poorly).

I’m not asking for the age old “gimme a spell so I can get a million dollars tomorrow”… I just want to hear some perspective and different viewpoints so I can hopefully have a lightbulb moment and apply some smaller changes to the process to see if that will produce better results. I’m trying to find folks who resonate with me and who are similarly focused like me. Currently in my “trying to be balanced and in tune with nature and the energies around me” era. Working primarily but not exclusively with elemental energies and principalities and nature centric deities from various cultures. I’d love to find a mentor/teacher or peer based friendships that can help me understand nature and nature based stuff better.

I’ve read that there’s an ADF grove in Houston, but unfortunately it’s located on the opposite side of the city as me (which is a 1.5-2hr trip one way). While I endeavor to make that journey a reality; I’m hoping that in the meantime I can connect with individuals who are down to compare notes and shoot the shit so to speak.

Side note… I’m a craftsman in my free time and im working on making that my profession someday. So if investing your time in discourse or sharing knowledge for the freeskies isn’t your idea of a fun time, I’ll happily trade you a wand or a scrying/offering bowl or an engraved pendant/pocket stone in exchange for the immaterial gift you’re sharing with me! I was apart of a culty discord called New Shinar. Some dude named Salvatore Tenabra was running the thing. His real name was Jason. It dissolved after me and the rest of the management structure flamed and outed the guy in charge for lying about pretty much everything.

Anywho, trying to find friends from that time period in hopes of seeing where they’ve gotten to in their journey. Most of the folks who I kept up with from then have gotten sucked into living life and have since stopped pursuing occult/esoteric education. Would love to reconnect and vibe like the “good ole days” and bounce some ideas off my old friends.

Me and my wife are lowkey lonely. We’ve been hurting for community ever since we had our kid and got into the careers that were keeping for the next couple years. We’re both extremely open minded and empathetic and cultured. We are very spontaneous, adventurous, and love to do everyday tasks with the people we care about. We spend our tee time playing MTG, DND, board/card games, going to cidercade, BBQing with friends, visiting small town festivals and painting with a twist (or puff) in the comfort of our home.

I’m into hiking, meditating, dnd, rockhounding and lapidary activities, esoteric studies, quantum conversations and researching, and really anything that piques my interest. I have an above average IQ paired with a more inner city childhood and a street life background.

My wife is chronically online, loves to paint and cook, enjoys having shopping and movie outings with her girlfriends and LOVES getting to take our daughter to the park for play dates with other moms. She has an exceptional artistic eye, she spent her childhood in Colorado, and tends to be the token person in any friend group she comes across.

We both are pro 2A and carry almost anytime we’re out, libertarian/left leaning with politics or morals or global/socioeconomic issues, entrepreneurially minded and intentionally focused on pursuing financial stability and inner growth, and dreaming of the day we can travel before settling down onto a multi-family micro-farm coop.

If you got a good license and go onto Lyft, you can sign up to rent a car through them and drive for them. I did this for 4 months. I worked 12 hour days, 5 days a week sometimes 6. Saved up 1500 in that time and went and got me a ford escape Now I’m making in the range of 1k-1600 a week working for uber @ 4-5 days a week/ 8 hours a day and I’m also doing private chauffeuring.

If you need a car. If you need money. Go put on your customer service voice, hit a car wash every day, and go run some ride share; it works if you want it to!
