Do my stitches look like they’ve split?
Day 6 post procedure. What are the two round white patches? They don’t look like the rest of the stitches

Severe tongue tie cut
1st pic, before. 2nd straight after procedure 3rd pic now 42h post op.
I don’t have good before pictures but I had a severe tongue tie it was heart shaped when I stuck it out!
I went private in the UK cost around £280.
The numbing injections under the tongue were fine couldn’t feel them much but then he did 2 on the tip of my tongue and they were so painful.
The pain was pretty bad about 1h after the procedure I wish I had taken pain medication just before. I think I have around 6/7 stitches which are quite irritating I hope they dissolve soon! I’m finding it hard to eat still and even drink through a straw, talking hurts too.
The pain is dying down however I do have a burnt feeling in the tip of my tongue not where he cut. I think it’s where the injections were, it’s similar to when you burn your mouth on a hot drink. I’m trying not to worry as google says it’s still healing and probably temporary nerve damage from the procedure.
If anyone has any advice on the burnt tongue feeling please comment:)

My tongue is so numb I can’t speak properly. And the tip of my tongue feels like pins and needles is this normal?!

Surgery next week!
I’m 27 and have my tongue tie cut procedure next week. I’m in the UK and seeing a ENT specialist, I’ve been doing some tongue exercises at home and plan to carry them on after the release.
Im quite anxious about the possible side effects, how common are speech issues post procedure? I really worry I will develop and lisp or not be able to have full control of my tongue😂
Any advice or experience would be great!

UK frenectomy
So I’ve got a private consultation coming up and will hopefully book the procedure soon after.
Im almost 100% that I won’t have another appointment after my procedure however I’ve seen on here that speech therapy is a must.
I’m not sure that’s as common in the UK and also I probably can’t afford it!
Has anyone had an adult frenectomy in the UK and had no follow up after? Obviously I will do the stretches before and after etc!

Is my tongue tie severe
I’ve been thinking about cutting my tongue tie cut privately in the UK.
I don’t have too many issues from it except when I stick my tongue out really far it hurts. I’m also quite insecure about it weirdly
I also get neck and shoulder pain so wondering if this would help. I’m 27
If anyone has had this procedure done in the UK please comment your experience!
