Mouldy cakes after first flush and dunking
After dunking my cakes seem to have gone mouldy. is there any saving them?
Complete system recommendations?
I bought the MiSTer Pi when Taki released it and I love it. I'm recommending it to a friend but it's not as regularly available now so I'm not sure what to recommend.
It would have to be the full stack with case, with 128mb ram, usb hub, ideally a prepared SD card but I reckon I could set that up for him.
Oh and he wants to use it with a big old CRT TV with scart input! So it should have some kind of output that we could make work with that ideally. Maybe VGA?
We are in the UK. I see various clones on ebay for around £180-£200 that look the part, but is there a recommended option out there around that price?
Filthy CRT- can I hose it down?
I picked up this Sanyo CRT from the street the other day, power cord is cut so I don't yet know if it works. but on opening it up I've found it's pretty disgusting inside!
A guy told me I should just hose it down with tap water and then let it fully dry, as it's summer it won't take long. Is that really safe to do?
I have a 3D printed colour changing LED lamp that I bought from someone on Etsy. Recently it's been randomly turning itself on for no reason.
At one time it seemed to happen around 9pm every night, I would turn it off and then the next night it would come back on. I've literally seen it happen. Now it seems to turn itself back on overnight at some point, as it's on when I get up in the morning.
It has a remote control for turning it on and off and for controlling its auto color/ pattern changing function. It's plugged in all the time so of course the mains isn't turning itself on and off, just its own little microprocessor or whatever is in there.
I assume it has some kind of timing function that has been triggered somehow but I have no idea how to control this. See attached pic for the lamp and the remote.
