I finally finished my uk garage track, and i won’t be editing it anymore. I’d appreciate feedback for my future projects.

Everything in this track is made by myself, except for the samples (one shot drum samples, vocal samples and fx samples)

The things i made for this track include:
- top narrow layer synth (the chords)
- bottom wide layer synth (the chords)
- reese(-ish) bass
- violin inspired lead
- video game sounding arp (background)
- simple pluck following same pattern as arp (background)

All made with the au3v plugin AudioKit Synth 1 j6

I made heavy use of other plugins (both from apple and external apps) for individual audio tracks. These plugins include things like “fake” sidechain (since garageband has none. Especially useful with 4/4 kicks), spacial width, reverb, etc. Dm me if you’d like to know the specific plugins i used.

All with all, i think it turned out great, and i’d like to hear other peoples perspectives.

edit: the audio quality is a bit worse on reddit than my .wav file (also because its a screenrecording). Does anyone know how to upload the full quality audio to reddit?

I made this in garageband and it took me about 6-8 hours in total. I’d like some honest reviews since this is a slightly experimental uk garage style beat, but with warping chords. I made each instrument/synths myself in j6 synth one. The drums and effects are samples i downloaded online.

In this video i also show the settings i use for each synth i made, for the people who want to experiment with the same type of sound. I also show the plugins i use for them, but not their specific settings.

Uk garage ish style. It is pretty much the foundation, but almost no details have been worked out. Lmk what u think
