Transitioning out of emergency medicine; where to next?

I’d like to get out of EM within the next 2 years. It’s all I’ve ever done, before and after education, so it’s what I know. But the unique stressors of emergency care have been eating away at me, and I’ve come to accept that a life-long career here is not for me.
I’m wondering of transitioning to something else such as occupational health, palliative care, or maybe even SNF care.
Anyone with similar background, or know someone similar and how leaving EM went for them? Where did you end up, and are you happier there?

Thanks all.

Managing room temp at night

I know this probably seems like a ridiculously simple question, but this will be our first baby so of course I second guess everything. Thank you for your patience.
My husband and I sleep with the A/C on as we live in a hot climate in the U.S. Getting things ready for baby number 1, and wondering how best to keep our room temp at night. Is there an optimal temperature? I don’t want baby getting too cold in the bassinet! I also personally struggle to sleep with just a sheet/thin quilt.
Any advice appreciated, thank you!

Please, PLEASE proofread your AI notes.

PA here but currently on medical leave due to a serious medical illness in myself. As a result I’ve had a ton of appointments with various specialists, PCP etc.
I keep finding significant errors in my medical record from ambient listening software. Things like major discrepancies in start date of symptoms, referring to things as a pre-existing chronic issue rather than a new acute problem, etc.
If I didn’t need these notes for the sake of medical leave and short-term disability, it wouldn’t bother me as much. Mildly infuriating, but not the end of the world.
Now my record is being scrutinized, and these obvious errors are creating so many hurdles. To make matters worse, other docs/APPs are copying and pasting these errors into their own notes.
Such a headache. I can barely take care of myself right now, let alone having to go request multiple addendums and fight with the disability insurance.
If you use ambient listening, PLEASE proofread your notes. That’s all.

What are your cravings right now (weird and boring)?

- Strawberries
- Baby cucumbers (crunchier the better)
- Thai green curry with sushi rice
- Ben & Jerry’s honey graham latte ice cream (can only find it at my local B&J store, can’t find it at grocery!)
- I’d love some peanut butter with cinnamon graham crackers but my husband is allergic to nuts
