I think showing your underwear in public (on purpose, like sagging) and extremely revealing clothing should be considered assault

I know how the title sounds and listen, I get it. You’re probably thinking “wtf kinda logic is that this is stupid” but hear me out:

When you go to the beach, pool, whatever, every person wearing a bathing suit (or nude if a nude beach) is consenting to be seen like that, and to see others like that. When you go to these places you’re expecting on being in a bathing suit/whatever yourself, and expecting to see other people like that. The gym, you expect to see people in gym wear. But only at those designated places.

This is why when you might get walked in on in just your underwear, you feel exposed because you didn’t consent or expect to being seen like that.

When I’m in the grocery store, for example, I expect to see other people grocery shopping, and wearing clothes that are fitting to do so. Whether that’s pajamas or whatever, they’re covered. But that’s what you consent to because you’re making the choice to go grocery shopping with those expectations.

I didn’t go to the grocery store, expecting to see clothing that reveals part of your nipples, or sagging your pants so much I see your underwear and an outline of your junk. I didn’t consent to that. If I wanted to see that I’d go to a public place where that’s expected or whatever. I’m not a prude but there’s a line of consent that gets crossed when you’re damn near naked.

I think *some* people are misdiagnosing themselves with autism due to the literacy crisis.

We are in a literary crisis, children aren’t learning and retaining information and are becoming addicted to social media instead of consuming literature. English becomes more and more simplified as time continues. With that, it’s harder to use hyperbole or be dramatic because what is said is taken literally, every exaggeration is taken sincerely.

I think this inability to read into exaggeration and metaphors is causing folks to misdiagnose themselves with autism simply because they can’t read the tone, and miss social cues because of it.

*this isn’t a blanket statement and obviously is only applicable to some people, not everyone with autism

I wonder how many of us will pass from stress induced by money problems.

I have anxiety enough as it is, but finances add onto it ten fold.

So much to pay for, yet not enough income. I know I’m not alone here. Waking up in the middle of the night worried about next month’s rent, watching savings be depleted. I need to fix quite a few things on my car, my dogs need better veterinary care, I myself have health concerns I can’t afford. Stressing about these things 24/7 is causing weight loss, hair loss, fatigue, depression, irritability.

I have a job, and I’m so thankful for it, but it is commission only, and I’ve only just finished training. I’m hoping to wait this out and make good money, but not knowing when the next direct deposit is going to hit alone causes great anxiety.

I’ve had money stress on and off for a couple years, depending on my situation, but if it’s like this long term, I can’t imagine how detrimental that would be to your health. The stress on your heart, body.

How long have you been worried about money struggles, how have you noticed it affecting your health?

I don’t care if I have bugs in my house.

I live in an apartment and the pest control used to be pretty good. If the occasional bug did get in, it didn’t make it far and would die.

Over the past couple months the quality has declined. Quite a few spiders and millipedes and other various common house bugs have made an appearance in my home. And they live and make it far this time lol.

I used to care but like at this point fucking whatever. genuinely whatever. I’m in the bathroom and I’m watching a millipede crawl on my rug. But like whatever. I don’t have time to worry about this. Like who cares we’re all gonna die anyways what’s the point in worrying about a bug in my house. This is all just earth anyways.

Finally left a job that was not a good fit for me. I got a new job because a company employee liked me and wanted to give me a chance, sent my info and resume to his hiring manager. I wasn’t even looking for a job, I was inquiring on their product.
