I'm looking to buy a base for modding and all conversations keep pointing to Harley Benton.

The TE20 caught my eye - I have always wanted a Tele style guitar, but definitely want humbucker slots.

Any advice? Recommendations? Is this a good purchase?

What's the difference between this and the more expensive Tele styles HB has?

First off, I am not a beginner guitarist, but I've moved country without my two ibanez's and just trying to assess my options.

My question is, has anyone actually bought one of these budget/"fake"/dupe guitars from AliExpress? Obviously they're not good, but just how bad are they? I'm flirting with the idea of making them the base for a budget build. The knockoff blackmachine style has always caught my eye.

To be clear, I will immediately be dropping a pair of Seymour Duncan's into them, but I want to know whether they're even salvagable or it's a pure waste of money on some firewood. Any actual experience from buyers would be so appreciated.
