Another bralette as a crochet beginner :)

She’s not perfect, but I really enjoyed making this for someone very important to me :) last photo is the bralette I made for myself, exact same pattern just diff colored yarn.

Yarn is Lion Brand’s Landscapes Renewed Sweet Mint :)

Has anyone used this yarn? :)

Found this in our local store and they only had 10 skeins of each color. The yarn was also super soft so I got 6 skeins to make a throw blanket via crochet😅 this is 90% acrylic and 10% bamboo so I think it’s also low maintenance compared to a Truboo yarn from Lion brand for example. Please share some tips! 2nd photo from google just wanted to see the pattern and fell in love :)

Which LB yarn to use for a throw blanket? Tried One Pound of Love and I do not like the texture 🥲

Choices (1st photo):
LB Landscapes Renewed
LB Wool ease (but this is the only yarn left and I can’t get any more of this color. I’m not from the US so supplies are more limited and the seller sold out on this already)
LB Truboo (can get more of this in case)

2nd photo:
WIP using LB Pound of Love but made a mistake

I’ve been trying to make a throw blanket & tried using LB’s One Pound of Love but I’ve really been not loving the texture and since I made a mistake (there’s a part that suddenly lacks rows) and idk if I should still fix it, I’m considering just starting over with a new yarn that feels much nicer 😅

I’ve worked with cotton yarns mostly so maybe that’s why I’m not loving the acrylic texture at all (i think it may be a sensory issue)

TBR 🥰 Which to read next? :)

All acquired in the last month while experiencing grief. Some of these are your recommendations, so thank you. I just finished the curious kitten at the chibineko kitchen and currently reading days at the morisaki bookshop. I think the latter is more of a quick read which i like for now since I’ve only been starting to get out of a book slump. But the curious kitten feels like a book on grief & healing, it was honestly quite heavy. But still felt peaceful & comforting :)

Book suggestions & haul from the last month :) TW: talking about grief in the description.

TW: death & suicide

A friend died from suicide recently so I picked up the curious kitten at the chibineko kitchen & under the whispering door to help with grief. The day she died, I picked up convenience store by the sea because the cover looks like a warm hug for some reason.

Before that, I picked up the other books here. Ready or not specifically because the husband & I want to start trying to be pregnant.

I’m starting with the curious kitten at the chibineko kitchen. Do you guys have any more book suggestions? Easy read please, easing my way through reading again as this has been helpful in my coping recently.

Or what should I read next after curious kitten at the chibeniko kitchen :)

Amidst the heaviness of life now, I’m also starting to build a cozy library for myself at home, and for close friends when they come over.

Red HRV for days now. What else am I supposed to do 😩

This with really bad health anxiety is a really bad combo. Been trying to rest in the last days especially after getting a heat exhaustion when I played outdoor tennis 3 days ago. I didn’t faint, it was just incredibly hot during summer here.

Meet our 2 dust children 💁🏻‍♀️

Nala the anxious avocado & Big Head the always cozy baby (and his name is like that because Nala had to have a CS for his head—he was the 3rd dust kitty)

Where to buy additional RAM and have it installed?

I posted recently looking for a laptop for our driver’s son who is entering college with geodetical engineering as his course and I wanna thank those who replied!

Ended up buying a 2ndhand Lenovo Ideapad L340-15IRH Gaming Laptop from a mutual friend and got it for only 13k. I think this is good enough as a first laptop for him.

Its RAM however is only 8GB so I would love to upgrade it, I just do not know how to do it myself haha.

Where can I have a laptop’s RAM upgraded at a good price? :)
