So the folks behind me gave me their Grays jerseys, a large in the bag, and a medium they only took out to look at. I personally think these are really nice, keeping mine for sure. Not looking to get rich, I'd actually prefer a different giveaway item for each of them. Open to offers.

Now here's the complicating factor. I'm leaving town tomorrow around noon to drive home. I've got a five hour drive, so can't be too flexible about this. Willing to meet someone, for the right trade/price within reason, otherwise we'll be talking shipping.

I know it's been discussed here before, it's even happened to me a few times before, but NOTHING like this.

It was one of the most vivid dreams I've ever had. I woke up from it a couple times, but went right back into it once I dozed again, something that almost never happens to me.

In the dream I was travelling, I think for work. I was younger than I am now, I think in my 20s. I met this woman at the hotel I was staying at. We started talking, and really almost immediately started liking each other.

She was there with her family for her grandmother's birthday. She had to return to college at the end of the trip. She was already having second thoughts about school before meeting me, and meeting me fed into those qualms she had about school. I encouraged her to go, school was important, we could make long distance work, I'd only be a couple hours away, anyway.

I met her family, her brothers liked me, her dad wasn't sure, but I think I was winning him over. She had an uncle who REALLY thought I was just taking advantage of the situation.

We spent evenings together, some alone, some with her family. I remember the feeling of her body, her warm soft skin. No NSFW content, it was all very innocent and sweet.

The final "scene" of the dream, is lunch with the entire family at a restaurant, the grandmother's party is that night, I'm going to miss the party because I'm flying out at 6. I'm debating changing my flight, and she says to me, "oh, it's ok. You'll miss out on all this craziness, but you'll always have me, I'm not going anywhere..." We kiss...and my alarm goes off.

I've been messed up all day. How is it possible to feel loss over someone who doesn't exist. Tearing up thinking about her ...jfc.

TL:DR Fell in Love in a dream last night, moods been off all day because of it.

...but I'm at the point where I'd REALLY like to see us play this season out and see where the coaching and development of the players can get us. We're still making stupid mistakes, and I certainly don't see us doing any shopping at the deadline, but maybe we could pick up a few scraps when other rosters shuffle out that could help the team. Pitching is clearly our weakness, but even there we have starters starting to give us more valuable outings. Am I completely off base with my thinking here?

Like another poster said, I'm really starting to feel attached to this lineup, feels like when I became a Nats fan back in 2008 again. I'm enjoying this team again. I'd hate to see the second half of the season become another bloodbath.
