One of the coolest ideas spread around this sub is a Spy Thiller movie akin to Atomic Blonde, Ballerina ect. I would love to see a movie like that but I've had a important thought/concern. The big thing that makes Nat unique from a typical grounded fem super spy is that she is an actual SUPER Spy in a Superhero universe.

What Marvel stuff would you put in this movie that would still respect and fit with the more subtle, serious spy/espionage thriller stuff? What characters would you have? How crazy should Nats powers be? Maybe the connections/sources/equipment she obtains are of supernatural or cosmic nature. What if the threat was magic/cosmic? And what would justify Natasha's skillset being the best solution there? Ect.

Personally I think it'd be sick if the protagonist of dark grungy spy movie was cornered in a shootout and as a last ditch effort she barely musters enough strength to just chuck a vehicle at someone(or a less heavy object in Nats typical strength range so shes not too op). Or for an essential infiltration she consults a sorcerer to get a magic item to protect her from a security measure that curses you, or banishes a summoned a mindless one, or lets her phase through an adamantium wall. Anything fun like that that acknowledges the unusual threats she can encounter even in the spy world of Marvel.

Seriously I've never anticipated a rivals character release this much before. Only Elsa and Devil Dinosaur have come close. I'm just excited for a new magic themed tank.

For me personally it was a variety of reasons. Initially it was cause I like magic themed characters, he looked cool, and I miiight have also had a bit of the "I knew him before everyone else" syndrome because I first saw him years ago in Contest of Champions. But more recently I decided I needed to back that up by actually learning my stuff.

I stayed cause I find it entertaining how much of a back and forth loser/winner Parker is. Always gaining power and rising up but then getting his ass handed to him or losing what's close to him. Its hilarious cause its deserved most of the time but also maybe there's a bit a relatabilty there which probably reflects the concept of him being a mirror to Peter Parkers everyman character.

I will say I also liked how they made him a fine ass boricua man in rivals but hey, that's just a bonus.(Tho if that is your main reason I'll respect that too lol)

Kids focused dnd groups sound adorable. Ugh I hate when this happens...

Both Ada and Mia are in very interesting spots being not only the only main protagonists in the series to have actively contributed to the bioterrorism of this world, but also both have mysterious and unexplored pasts and personalities. I think these unique aspects would make them a great pair for a side game. It could explore Mia's grief, regrets and relationship with Rose after losing Ethan and trying to live up to his heroic and selfless example. It could explore how Ada's actions and career have hurt herself, innocents, and her relationship with Leon along with the aftermath of Simmons violating her bodily autonomy with Carla. It could follow them encountering a branch of The Connections and taking them down or something similar and possibly even finding some true redemption for themselves.

Plus the Revelations games have always been kinda soap opera'y and I think that these characters complicated morality and past would fit very well in a dramatic plot fit for Rev 3.

With RE9 we now know dual style gameplay is a possibility, so I think Mia and Ada would fit that well. Ada of course is more experienced than even Leon and she can hold the more action focused side of a game. I believe Mia could hold the side that sticks to the survival horror roots. You can have it that since RE8 she's spent years out of action and was focused on being a mother to Rose so she'll be much less proficient and more vunerable but still capable similar to early Claire and Grace.

Edit: I do want to add since it seems to be coming up a lot I do think many other characters also deserve to be in a hypothetical Rev3 like Sheva, Carlos, Rebecca, ect. I'm just sharing ONE hypothetical cool idea that I wnated to hear people's thoughts on😄

So personally the most fun and unique parts of her kit is her sparks explosions, I love blowing up whole groups and love self healing abilities.

Recently they have increased the damage of her primary fire but nerfed the explosion damage and now have nerfed her self heal down to 5hp/s making most of her value now come from direct hits from her primary fire and bringing her more in line with Hela and essentially moving Jean closer to the whole "Better version of Hela" status.

While its nice she very effective towards DD in the current meta, I just wish they would lean more into her sparks effect cause that is what I find is the more fun part of her but maybe I'm alone on this sentiment?

Edit: I also remembered melee sparks were also unique/fun and they killed that too. I'd take a nerf to primary fire if we could get that back.

(I know this is a super common subject but I still wanted to share my thoughts)

RED ROOM RIFLE- Remove rechamber mechanic and change fire rate to match (Removes a lot of bugs, will feel better to use. They should keep the animation and sound for muscle memory and the fun clickly sound)

WIDOW'S BITE BATON- Increase range by .5m-1m up to 3.5m-4m. Make them apply a status effect. I think the least offensive one would be a minor slow(If shes going to have an entire separate weapon it needs to be more useful. Range increase will make it easier to use plus DD has similar weapons and gets 4.5m so... also slow could be another tool for anti-dive)

FLEET FOOT- Inifinite Sprint but keep Stamina for jumps and increase stamina cost(Cap gets it so she should get it too, keeping jump stamina will keep the small skill expression of stamina management)

EDGE DANCER- Maybe bump down to 14-13sec cooldown(This one is intimidating balance I think its mostly fine outside of bugs)

STRAIGHT SHOOTER- This one doesn't count(Yes I'm spiteful about aiming taking up an ability slot but it does its job at least)

ELECTRO PLASMA EXPLOSION- Increase vulnerability duration 1-2sec (Mostly satisfied with the ult tho more time for you to line up your shots and for your teammates to take advantage would be nice)
