Red lines stuttering on screen

I would attach a photo but they are quite unpredictable so its hard. They flash on the screen fairly frequently, and have persisted even after I changed the hdmi cable and updated my graphics drivers. Other than than my pc performs fine and malware scans come back clean, so ive ruled out malware. An issue which may be separate or related is the fact that the power cables plug is getting unusually warm. Edit- I forgot to mention i have just installed a new gpu

Apology

I would like to just apologise for my last post as I didnt realise how bad the people in some of the bands i listen to are. Im fairly new to being alt/punk and about 1 year/ a year and a half ago I would buy things from places like temu without realising how bad they were. Hence why some patches on my battle jacket looked that way. I do different now and I try to diy, for example im making my own studded belt (belt second hand and studs from cans) and i make my own bracelets. I just want to say im trying to filter out all the terrible patches from my battle jackets, and I didnt realise how bad monster are or how bad some of the bands i like are.

Edit- just to clarify despite the views of the people in the bands I like (which i didnt realise) my views are left and I dont support ICE or MAGA

Weird grey rectangle with wallpapers

Just got a new GPU and ive connected a second monitor to my PC. My wallpaper app (lively wallpaper) now has a weird grey block in the tip left of each screen. I had this problem before and it just went away and now its back.

How to cover up hot glue

As I've recently given up using shein and temu for accessories (this was months ago) I've decided to stud my own belt. I bought a second hand leather belt and used my mated monster cans to make studs, they look bad but in a good way ig. The studs stick surprisingly well to the belt using hot glue, but the hot glue it very noticeable. From afar the belt looks pretty good but when you see it closer it looks like something from a school art class. How can I make the hot glue less noticeable?

Feel guilty bc of shein

I feel like such a poser bc I used to buy from shein when I first started being alt. I buy elsewhere now or I buy from vinted but I still wear the stuff I bought from shein bc I'm not just gonna chuck it away. Like i even recycled some of it turning this old shein belt into a bracelet. But for example my battle jacket itself is second hand but the patches on it (only a few) are from shein but I bought them months ago. Now i buy from places that aren't as bad because i realised how bad shein is i just feel like a poser. Like i buy from blue banana a fair bit and I have a lot of stuff from vinted now.

Shein and temu clothes/accessories

A few months ago I decided im going to stop using shein and temu, as I realised just how bad it actually is, but I have quite a few accessories from their and I feel like if I were to throw them away I would he doing more harm than good, can I still wear them and be alt? I dont intend on buying from there again because ive heard they are like the worse of the worst in terms of fast fashion. Don't get me wrong though now I try to avoid fast fashion by using things like vinted or when I do buy something new I try to buy from shops that arent as bad as shein and temu.

Affordable clothes

How do you lot buy affordable clothes? I dont want to buy fast fashion anymore as Ik its bad, the only problem is money. I do try to thrift and by off vinted but its hard to find something good that is also my size. Also with vinted I cant tell what is cheap stuff which wont last me very long. I do diy as well but im not very good at it. I dont buy clothes from shein and temu as I know they are like the worst of the worse, but I buy stuff from places like blue banana and boohooman. I know they are fast fashion but I cant find things that arent fast fashion that are also affordable. Don't get me wrong though I do buy second hand where I can and diy, for example I bought a second hand belt and made studs from old cans which I like to think is pretty alternative. Anyway please dont be nasty because I buy fast fashion, as people dont always have a choice, at least im trying to do better. If your going to be nasty about it dont bother replying please, im sick of hearing the word poser.

Non fast fashion brands that are cheap

Right I'm gonna get criticized for this but I dont care, in the past before I realised how bad they were, I've bought from shein and Temu, I now try to avoid that completely, I still wear the jewelry I bought otherwise it would be even worse to just throw it away, I even re purposed an old shein belt I had from ages ago into a bracelet. I do shop from other places now that are considered more ethical than shein and temu but they are still fast fashion (blue banana, boohoo man etc). Thrift stores near me have nothing good or even in my size and things like vinted are mostly either not in my size, not my style or are clearly from shein and wont last me very long. I do try to DIY as well, like I make bracelet and I work on my battle jackets but I'm not talented enough to do much more. I'll be called a poser for wearing fast fashion but realistically I dont have many other options, I'm well aware fast fashion isn't ideal and if i were rich i wouldn't shop it at all but I dont have loads of money to do that. How am I supposed to get around this? How many of you also by fast fashion as well? In my opinion it's just almost completely unavoidable and at least I'm not buying new clothes all the time. Are there any actually cheap brands that are alternative and ethical? If possible I would like to avoid fast fashion.

Making studs

How do you get studs and spikes without buying them? I like making my own bracelets and stuff out off old denim and belts but the studs I use are from (dont come at me) shein but I dont really want to do that as it kinda defeats the purpose. I've tried making studs from an old monster can but they look kinda tacky, not tacky in a good way either l. I have no idea how I'd make spikes and I dont even know how im going to stick the studs on. Could I use hot glue?

Making jacket bigger

I posted here the other day about a jacket i bought and about cutting off the sleeves, its all done and look quite nice, but the jacket is a bit small, not too small but not big enough for my liking. Would it look completely ridiculous if I cut from the bottom of what was the sleeves to the bottom of the jacket and then loosely sewed it together? If anyone has done this or has any photos of it can I see please?

Standard characters

Are standard characters as bad as people make them out to be? I just lost the 50/50 to tighnari and then got diluc on the standard banner. I like dilucs play style tbf and find him quite cool. As for tighnari I'm not big on how users but I like his characters so I wouldn't mind using them both but if they are terrible I won't bother. Also I'm a new ish player so i dont know much, this is only the second 50/50 I've lost and they've both been to durin.

Secure boot violation

Just installed Linux mint on this old Samsung out of boredom, worked fine last night now I get this when I turn of the computer. What is this? Is the computer done for or is it fixable?
