I’m coming back to planted tanks after more than a decade away and never had access to such nice options about plants back then, so any advice is appreciated!

My rgds arrived this week and while I’m really loving the form factor, I’m struggling with the OS side of things.

I’ve maybe gotten spoilt with cocoon on the Thor, but am finding it had to get Gamma OS feeling ‘just right’. Obligatory I have googled and YouTubed, but there’s a lot of information that seems juuuust adjacent to what I’m actually trying to sort out. So I’ve come to the experts! If anyone could provide links, advice or recommendations, I’m looking for help with:

1. Running daijisho on the top screen by default.
I got it up there with the swipe-down android setting, but then when I launch DS games drastic launches from the top screen, leaving the bottom screen blank and only half the game visible (unless I want to endlessly toggle with the shoulder button). Is there a way I can have daijisho running on the top as a default, but still have drastic auto-launch from the bottom screen?

2. Wallpapers!
So sue me, I want the thing to look cute at all times. Rather than the not-in-use screen being black, can I set a background?

3. Multitasking apps.
I very much grabbed an rdgs as an easy, low-stakes way of playing DS games that I don’t have cartridges for, so mostly both screens would be in use at all times; however, I do love the idea of occasionally playing Stardew with Gunther’s Library up or booting up a GBA game on the top screen and having Pixel Guides on the bottom screen. I guess this goes back to ask 1 as well - default app-launch-display-setup is a mystery to me still.

4. Sometimes no touch on bottom screen?
Intermittently when in the launcher/menus, the bottom screen seems to become button-controlled only while the top screen is still happily tappable. Is this a setting I’m missing? User error? An elaborate plot against me by the good people at Gamma?
