M1/S1 servo issues?
I'm about to order a S1 tomorrow and just started reading about the servo thoubles on both of these micros, is the issue overblown or is this really a common problem?

The mold release on these is strong, I am going to give them a good skrubb first! What a chonker model, so hyped to start him.
Looking at getting a Goosky S1 to upgrade from my k110s that I'm flying now and I'm wondering what spare parts to stock up on right away, so that a crash or two won't ground me immediately. I fly over tall grass and got pretty good with throttle cut so I don't expect much damage but what are the parts that break?
This kit is not very detailed and while I won't go too crazy it seemed fun to try and make this small detail. It's a bit overscale, but I think sells the effect quite well.
The weather's good, the grass is growing, and I'm itching to learn to fly upside down. After a lot of crashing I'm starting to get the right feeling for the collective and flipping upside down is getting easier. The aforementioned tall grass is working hard as a cushion too, and possibly a mental cushion. It was extremely gusty today, but in a calm period I was able to sustain my hover onehanded long enough to snap a picture. When gusty though the heli really dances and bounces around.
additional picture: replaced feathering shaft since my original one was bent since forever. Used loctite on the screws. Strong as can be!
More and more electrical tape is showing up on this machine now. Today the canopy split proper. There's a new one in the post as well as THIRTY SIX main gears (you will not regret ordering 36 main gears). This does work quite well though. Also I broke the tail motor holder- good job I guess!? All in a days work! I'm starting to practice upside down hovering, still working on all my orientations but it's getting a lot better. Need some time in the sim to get some of that muscle memory for upside down hovers in!
Have the feeling the stock batteries are already getting tired, but the gaonengs I got from u/TThibaud are holding up well!
