Turned my old Gear S3 into a live PC hardware monitor that sits on top of my case

Simple idea. Old watch. PC. Make them talk in year 2026..

2 days later I had been inside Samsung's firmware, discovered a kernel integrity system that silently corrupts reads on modified partitions, flashed the OS onto the watch entirely, and routed local sensor data through a public internet tunnel because my router blocks its own clients from seeing each other.

The watch sits on the charging stand on top of the case now. Live CPU, GPU, RAM, fans. Animated arc gauges. Updates every 2 seconds. It looks like it was always supposed to be there.

Every single layer of this had a wall behind it. Every wall had a way through.

I want to share my bad experience with Carbon4us and ask if anyone else had a similar issue.

I ordered Brembo red front brake calipers for Ducati from Carbon4us. I also paid extra for urgent delivery because I needed the part quickly.

After several days, my order was still only showing as “in preparation.” On 10 April, they replied saying the order included an “exclusive part” and that they were waiting to receive it from the manufacturer.

By 23 April, after around 15 days of delay and still no shipment, I requested cancellation because I found the part in stock from another shop. I sent the cancellation request before receiving any shipment confirmation.

The strange part is that after I requested cancellation, they suddenly sent a shipment/detail email later the same day. I immediately replied again and clearly asked them to cancel the order and stop/recall the shipment if possible.

Now they are saying the order was already processed and dispatched because my cancellation request reached them at the same time the warehouse was preparing/shipping the parcel.

But since 23 April, I have received:

  • no tracking number
  • no delivery update
  • no delivery confirmation
  • no clear proof that the parcel was actually dispatched
  • no product
  • no refund

This is especially frustrating because I paid extra for urgent delivery, but I still have no item and no tracking information.

At this point, I no longer want the order. I have formally requested cancellation and a full refund, including the urgent delivery fee. I also asked them that if they claim the parcel was shipped, they should immediately provide the tracking number and proof of dispatch.

I also noticed that other people have complained about this company before, so now I am concerned this may not be an isolated situation.

Has anyone here dealt with Carbon4us before? Did you manage to get a refund, or did you have to open a chargeback / bank dispute / card claim?

Finally finished my custom 1/10 scale Renault Twingo RC body.

The whole body was 3D modeled and printed in PLA. The hood and trunk are functional, and the body was finished with Tamiya primer, paint, and clear coat.

Paint/materials used:

  • Tamiya Fine Surfacer Primer L – White Spray Matt, 180ml Used for body, hood, and trunk
  • Tamiya TS-6 Matt Black Spray, 100ml Used for front and rear bumpers
  • Tamiya TS-89 Pearl Blue Spray, 3x100ml Used for body, hood, and trunk
  • Tamiya TS-13 Clear Spray Gloss, 100ml Used as clear coat for body, hood, and trunk

Still needs some final detailing, but I’m really happy with how the pearl blue finish and small functional parts came out.
