10-12 hónapos babák és az éjszakai alvás

Sziasztok!

Stimulated by using hamstring machines?

Hi!

I've just found this subreddit and I want to know if I'm the only one having this.

So, when me and my partner work out in a gym, I have trouble with using some leg machines, like when you're sitting and you have to pull your leg under yourself, or when you're laying on your tummy and have to bend your knees to lift the weight. I used get so aroused there, that I wasn't able to lift heavy weights that way. My partner thought I was weird, and I don't have anyone else to ask whether this is normal or not. Did anyone else experience similar things?

How do you keep them both asleep?

Hi! I have 2 children, a 9 month old and a 2.5 years old. I cosleep every night with the baby while husband cosleeps with toddler in his room. However, due to the nature of my husband's job, I have to sleep alone with the 2 every few days. Those nights I sleep with them both. Last 2 nights, toddler went crazy about something in the early morning (4-5 AM), this woke baby up as well. Baby wakes up and wants to explore, as this is toddler's room, full of toys. Toddler struggles to fall back asleep as I can't pet him constantly cause baby keeps crawling away.

How do you 1. Ensure they don't wake each other up 2. Handle putting them both back to sleep? It feels impossible to keep them asleep until their usual waking times this way...

Not the sibling dynamic I imagined - am I the problem?

Hi!

First of all, I'd like to emphasize that I love both my children with all my heart and I wouldn't change them. I just don't know how to make the situation easier for all of us.

So, I have 2 sons, a 2.5 year old and an 8 months old. We wanted them close in age so that we could have children sooner, and as my husband loved his short age gap with his sister (I have no sibling). My son was neutral towards having a baby brother while I was pregnant, and he was doing okay when we got him home. He had a few cute moments but that's it, no love at first sight, nothing really. Then he became extremely jealous of him as I had to breastfeed him a lot, and the newborn needed me (his dad was at home with us and he loves his dad). He has his moments when he is nice with his brother now, he gives him toys, he tries to comfort him sometimes, he has nice moments. But he had been more jealous the last few weeks, we had to make sure he tells us to get his brother away from him when it is too much for him instead of hitting him instantly. It works, but now he says the baby is too much more several times a day (they are not together all the time).

So now I have a big brother who wants nothing to do with baby, and a baby that is obsessed with anything the big one does. Even if being close to him means him getting hurt. Of course we don't let them be alone together, and we do everything to keep baby safe, but the hitting can happe anytime. I'm not saying that he should see a baby as his playmate, but I don't think he likes him at all.

My friends are in similar situation, same age gap and gender, and the big one is obsessed with the baby and wants to do everything with him nearby. Meanwhile I need to ask for help from grandparents whenever my husband is working, as I can't take care of both at the same time. This means they have many hours a day when they each have their own caretaker and they don't have to share. Am I doing it wrong? Would having them share my attention get them to be closer after a while? How can I help their relation? I don't expect them to be besties, but it would be great if they would have a connection. I must be doing something wrong and it breaks my heart...

Hosszú autóút - tippek 10 hónapos és 2,5 éves gyereknek

Sziasztok!

Sziasztok!
